Official remake of the original Nox Timore, that was released in 2014. A nightmare, that you come back to every night. Mannequins. Darkness. Horror.
Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. The player count below is how many people own it, not what they spent.

NOX TIMORE REMAKE is a **free** first-person horror game where you walk endless hallways at 2 mph while collecting notes and slowly realizing you are being emotionally held hostage by IKEA mannequins. Official remake of the 2014 original, now with upgraded graphics, new creatures, and voice acting to scream at you properly. You wake up in a nightmare you keep returning to every night. The game’s core loop is simple: * Walk down dark corridors * Read ominous letters * Notice there are more mannequins than before * Regret your life choices --- ### Pros * **Free to play** short horror hit, part of the Timore collection of “what if we weaponized mannequins and corridors.” * Environments keep subtly changing behind your back, like a cursed backrooms level where the interior designer hates you. * New creatures, voice acting, and a stronger atmosphere than the original – now the nightmare can verbally harass you too. * Runs on basically anything; minimum specs are “does it turn on?” and “can it show you regret in 3D?” --- ### Cons * Mannequins. Lots of mannequins. They move when you’re not looking and reposition like they’re speedrunning your blood pressure. * Gameplay is 70% walking, 20% reading notes, 10% screaming at a JPEG that suddenly isn’t a JPEG anymore. * It’s short, so just as your fight-or-flight kicks in properly, the game goes “thanks for coming to my TED talk on anxiety.” * “Mostly Positive” reviews are accurate: solid spook snack, not a full three-course trauma meal. --- ### Peak Nox Timore Moments * Turning around and realizing the hallway is now different and there are three more guys staring at you with no facial features. * Reading a letter clearly written by someone who has spent way too long in this nightmare and thinking “mood, honestly.” * Walking past a mannequin, convincing yourself it didn’t move, then hearing a stomp behind you and instantly uninstalling in your soul. * Finishing the game, breathing out… then remembering it’s canonically a nightmare you come back to **every night** and deciding you’re sleeping with the lights on. --- 8.5/10 A compact, free corridor of “mannequins, darkness, horror” that does exactly what it says on the tin. Would re-enter the nightmare, side-eye every plastic limb, and pretend I’m “fine” again.

What a crappy "scary" game
Круто.
NOX TIMORE REMAKE -
Subtitles! I can't hear without my subtitles! Seriously though, there's whispering in this game, and I can't hear whispering most of the time in real life (where I would also like subtitles!). Darkness! I also can't see in the dark. There are some parts in this game that are pitch black. I'm sure that's supposed to be scary, but the smudges on my monitor were quite distracting; however, it did get me to clean... This game, as well as Timore Remake, would benefit from some brightness settings. This all sounds negative, but think of it as opportunities for improvement. :) I did enjoy my time with this game. It's a good lunchtime game with creepy mannequins and jump scares.
ТИМУР
"Hello, everybody! My name is Markiplier!"
"NOX TIMORE REMAKE" is yet another of literally thousands of Unity first person horror jumpscare "adventure" games polluting Steam, and this is one of the worst ones. I guess the key point is that at least some of this isn't an asset flip, I think the mannequin thing that jumpscares you is original content. Because it looks awful. Not sure about the rest of it though. What do you do in the game? You wander around much too dark environments getting jumpscared. That's it... there are so many of these pointless and valueless Unity horror asset flips on Steam they all blur together after a while. The game graphics look better than you might expect, but that's just because it looks like some or all of them are "borrowed" from asset stores or wherever. Gamers can tell... and it comes across as insincere. There's also the old adage that those who lack the budget and talent to make their own game assets usually lack the budget and talent to do the rest of the job of game development properly, too. Not every "free" game really is. There's often MTX, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of things that could mislead gamers, but in this case I'm glad to say this really does appear to be a fully free game. Nothing demonstrates a developers belief in themselves and their work than giving it away without any remuneration. This is a service to themselves, and the gaming industry, and should be applauded. Of course, just because something is free, doesn't necessarily mean it's valuable. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at just a dozen or so concurrent players, and now there's basically nobody playing it. Even though it's free. This is a dismal public reception, but it's easy to see why gamers rejected it. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Not this time. This isn't worth downloading. While this won't cost you any money, you get what you pay for, and sometimes, even when the game is free, it's still not enough.
