This is a wonderful indie production that masterfully fulfills all the requirements of the genre and completely immerses the player. It successfully blends the adrenaline-fueled, fast-paced feel of traditional arcade culture with modern design elements. 🌟 Highlights & Positive Aspects:Intense and Fluid Gameplay: Even during chaotic moments with hundreds of bullets flying across the screen, you remain in total control. Enemy waves and bullet patterns are perfectly balanced. It is challenging, yet never feels unfair. Precise Hitbox Design: The hitbox registration—one of the most critical elements of the genre—is designed flawlessly. It delivers that thrilling, razor-edge excitement to the fullest as you glide through tight walls of bullets. A Visual and Audio Feast: The visuals deliver high action without straining the player's eyes. Dodging through a storm of bullets accompanied by a fantastic soundtrack is incredibly satisfying. Easy to Pick Up, Hard to Master: The golden rule of the arcade genre works perfectly here. Beginners can adapt quickly, while high-score chasers are treated to a depth that will keep them hooked for hours.🎯 Final VerdictA highly addictive masterpiece that is a must-play for anyone who loves chasing high scores and trusts their quick reflexes. Congratulations to our developer friend for this amazing effort; it is an absolute perfect fit for fans of the genre!

NovaSwarm is a surprisingly addictive game. The first few minutes feel simple, but once the enemies start piling up and your build begins to come together, it becomes really satisfying. I especially liked experimenting with different upgrades and trying to create stronger combinations each run. The gameplay gets chaotic in a fun way, and surviving a difficult wave feels genuinely rewarding. There are still a few areas that could use more polish, but the core gameplay is already very enjoyable. Definitely worth trying if you like roguelites, swarm-survival games, and fast-paced action.
it's a base for a game that could be good, but rn it's extremely bad. First of all, the screen itself is duplicating and showing itself again with an offset, making it horrible to even navigate the menu properly. This in itself should already make 90% of people want to refund the game. Then we get to the gameplay itself: it would be good, but the enemy's strength increases so fast that by minute 1 u're already getting swarmed by immortal enemies, not to talk about the first boss spawning around the same time, which fires bullets randomly and ends up getting protected by a massive blob of those immortal enemies. I literally bought all upgrades from the shop and they're all useless because even with max weapon damage they only take 1 damage. Now, an experienced player could still try and play through and eventually kill stuff, but that's very quickly denied because of the orange triangle enemy. It follows ur movement on screen and completely denies u from moving on a certain direction, and u're forced to constantly run away from them at full speed or else they'll just kill u, and running away from them also makes it impossible to try and kill anything else in the game, so literally 95% of the time u're playing the game u'll be running away from orange triangle enemies that will literally not let u do anything else the game is trying to offer u. This might be the most unfun enemy that I've seen in literal decades of gaming, because it straight up forbids u of doing literally anything else in the game, and there's nothing u can do about them.
