Nova Drift distills the mechanical depth and strategy of an ARPG into classic arcade space combat. Control an endlessly evolving bio-mechanical ship, face legions of strange and deadly foes, and ride the wake of a dying star across the void.

DLC upgrades in a ROGUELIKE of all things is atrocious, especially after increasing the base price of the game already. if you really need some cash go make another ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game instead of pissing all over this one.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

these controls are approaching unusable i dont know why not more people are complaining about this simply having the option to backpedal would make this game a thousand times more bearable to play but just the totality of all of jank with this movement makes it just not fun to play its like setting up an excel sheet, the end result may be satisfying but boy was it not fun getting there
perfect gameplay/progression, perfect visuals, perfect SFX/music, perfect difficulty, even perfect community engagement. Gold standard for a fun and satisfying action roguelite. And everything is developed by a single guy, with the sound also designed by a single guy, bringing the entire development team to a total of 2 individuals. It's not even expensive, AND I heard there's even more content coming out
TL;DR: You can tell it's a quality game made by some smart people (person?) who have a genuine passion for it. I've gotten a solid 40+ hours and seems like more content is still on the way. If you like these types of games, this one is legit. Honestly the build variety is nothing short of incredible. You can make a strong build doing anything from DoTs to minions to burst damage to melee to ramming to tanking and everything in between. Even the variations of a build seem endless. You want a swarm of self-destructing drones? You want to play Ace Combat with a wingman or two sending Fox 2's at the enemies? You want exploding ninja star drones that you can give your own flaming shield to and start trading away your own HP to build them even faster? All that and more can happen, and that's not even touching the super-mods that work in a lot of ways like legendaries in Path of Exile where they're less about being 10x damage and more like drastically changing your entire playstyle. The other big standout is how good this game can be with tempting you with risk vs. reward, long-term vs. short-term, etc. Do you take the perk that could give you double copies of a really good perk even knowing you may not see that perk for 10+ levels? What about one that gave you even more copies but banishes the perk after? Spend a level on perk that summons a super strong enemy who gives you 2+ levels of XP? What if the XP and the enemy both ramp up like crazy the more times you take it? If you've read this far and still aren't sure then imagine this: with enough game knowledge and a little luck, you could stack the odds and set up those tempting perks in a way that has you instantly fighting 4+ enemies who are all stronger than some of the bosses and basically guarantee that your build will go thermonuclear this run if you have the skills/build to take them on. Music, art style, and everything else are all on point as well but honestly this game could look and sound like total garbage and I'd still have the exact same hours. Stop reading this and go make the sickest build you can imagine.
The game is very good in terms of gameplay and uniqueness between runs, thanks to the diverse array of weapons. I especially enjoy the wild mode (additional buffs that have more drastic effects and stack), which you can unlock after a couple runs. Please note that this game is a roguelite, so it has meta progression. From what I've seen, the majority of the unlockable upgrades are pretty balanced but can still be more powerful, this seems to be balanced by being rarer or later in the non-meta unlock tree. My main gripe with this game comes from a key binding bug I experience randomly when pausing the game or rebinding that also sometimes persists on relaunch. Specifically, the bug affects my inputs by making all key presses not register (which is annoying because I usually pause the game frequently and use my keyboard to propel the ship and my mouse to fire). This bug is most definitely caused by me using Linux, seeing as the game doesn't have native support (I'll probably try using steam input or a controller for workarounds). If you use Windows or are techy, this game is as close as you can get to flawless (the only other thing I dislike being the black holes that randomly spawn and interrupt combat). If you like games with short runs (<20 mins), this worth buying or at least checking out the demo.
fun and lots of options for builds. Keep up the good work devs
This is one of the best roguelike shooters in terms of all music, gameplay, and the COLORS!!!! Gorgeous game, couldn't recommend more.
Well that was an incredible experience... This is the arcade game asteroids, but on every illegal drug imaginable. So much fun. I can't recommend this enough for fans of asteroids. As for people who aren't fans of asteroids, I still recommend buying this but you have to be prepared to refund this because the controls for this game are very unorthodox by today's standards. The focus here is on your own momentum, not on aiming. I've beaten the game on my second try but this has lots of unlocks and stuff that give it some replayability.
I played this game before it had an ending for like 40 hours after I unlocked everything. I just wanted to try more builds. It's a perfect roguelike. builds are fun, every upgrade feels impactful, enemies are simple enough to learn and don't feel cheap, risk vs reward feels balanced, playing risky is so damn fun. it's like the only thing i use my steam deck for its a game i put in peoples hands without telling them anything and i have to ask for my steamdeck back hours later when they want just one more run and it's not even $20
