https://youtu.be/eBerUNe8XI8 It may look like I speed ran the first two levels but this game either crashed or glitched out to the point I had to restart 5 or 6 times and I didn't want to explore anymore. Gotta start out being nit picky. Nosferatu and Dracula are not the same person. At first I wasn't sure how they managed to make a whole game and slap a 17$ price tag on it without knowing this but after I played it its all too clear. Just about everything in this game is terrible but I'm going to break it down by the 3 scenes so spoilers ahead. Scene one: From the very beginning you'll notice 4 things. The sound ear ♥♥♥♥♥ you with a very loud, long, deep tone. It plays almost constantly through the whole game, gets annoying almost immediately, and as far as I know has no way of being turned down. Your character is about 2 feet tall, moves like a crack head, and has a 6 foot vertical jump. ♥♥♥♥ you not, you can even seen the in the store pages videos that your character isn't tall enough to see over the counter. When holding down shift you go super man and can fly around the map leaping buildings in a single bound. Everything is shiny. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ everything. There are some doors that are so shiny they actually give off a reflection. And finally, thank god, the "Puzzles" are not puzzles. Every hint you find basically goes like this "Find this item!" or even better "The hidden item is hidden!". I can sum up the whole first scene like this. Press a button to get the door code. Scene two: If you didn't notice it before the level design is terrible and this scene smacks you in the face with it. This whole scene is a circle for the most part with only a few off shoot rooms that are small, square, and boring. You can get the code from the second room without much searching. This whole scene is pretty much just there to give you foreshadowing and a bit of backstory. Basically you are trying to figure out Dracula's secret and can only get it by solving puzzles(and I guess van helsing is mentioned). Spoiler: Solving puzzles are all just finding a code. Scene three: Oh ♥♥♥♥. Oh ♥♥♥♥ oh ♥♥♥♥. If you managed to get past the bad character design, the ♥♥♥♥ level design, annoying music, bad controls, horrible assets, and made it to this scene then its time to learn about terrible programming. This scene is laggy as ♥♥♥♥ and horribly glitchy. So the dev decided to program in a few bats and usually when you do this you have a trigger to cause the bats to fly around a room and then disappear when the player isnt around but instead of doing this the map is filled with bats that clip outside the map and due to the increase in entities the camera and movement gets buggy as ♥♥♥♥. What adds insult to injury the dev forgot to program in a lot of the walls and ceilings so while you're bouncing around everywhere trying to finish the game you can fall outside of the map and into the abyss which will cause you to reset or reload if you remembered to save every 5 seconds. The game description talks about eating food or drinking blood? I dunno I never did it. But the ending is the best part. All the secrets about dracula you have been looking for are summed up in a Wikipedia article that's found on a table in the last room. Dracula is Vlad and Impaler. Bum bum bummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm TLDR; ♥♥♥♥ game, ♥♥♥♥ price.
When I played the first version, I was frustrated because it didn't have a story and it had some bugs. However, recently the game was updated to a new version and I had a big surprise: Everything has been changed !! The developer redid the game completely! It is practically another game! This new build is completely improved. I think he felt that the initial result was unsatisfactory. So he decided to start again in a gesture of respect for the user. Congratulations on the demonstration of professionalism. I'll be honest: I didn't like the first version. :-| (Boring...) Now, what I played was worth the investment. Of course, we are not talking about an AAA game. I loved it! I liked this update! It has action, a compelling story and a very fun dynamic. :-) Try playing! Gameplay ★★★★ Graphic ★★★★★ Plot ★★★ Performance ★★ (Depending on the GPU: ★ )
also going on my suicide note:)
