A well-polished game with minimal bugs
It’s a good game.
First time playing, the game design is good
Genuinely fun. I didn’t expect to enjoy it this much.
Visualmente hablando el juego está muy bien ambientado, me encantó la temática al estilo cine negro. Cargado de simbolismo esotérico para aquellos que disfruten el ocultismo.. X otro lado muy bien realizado los puzzles. Totalmente recomendable!
NoseBound transports players into a captivating world where they step into the shoes of detective Ray Hammond. Inspired by the legendary Humphrey Bogart, Ray navigates through a gritty, atmospheric environment filled with suspense and intrigue. The game’s aesthetic is reminiscent of the golden age of cinema, perfectly capturing the mood and tone of noir films, while also incorporating a Lovecraftian twist that adds layers of complexity to the narrative. The gameplay revolves around point-and-click mechanics, allowing players to interact with the environment, solve puzzles, and uncover hidden clues. The storytelling is rich and immersive, drawing players into a web of mysteries that will keep them guessing until the very end. The art style is beautifully crafted, showcasing a dark and moody palette that enhances the eerie atmosphere, while the sound design complements the visual experience with haunting melodies and sound effects. What sets NoseBound apart is its ability to blend classic detective work with supernatural elements, creating a unique experience that appeals to both fans of noir and horror. The character development is also noteworthy; players will find themselves invested in Ray Hammond’s journey as he confronts not only the mysteries at hand but also the shadows of his own past. I loved it!

It's a good story but gameplay is terrible
Had this on my wish list after playing the demo, so decided to buy. At the time of playing the demo, something drew me in and I guess it was the dark vibes it gave off. Having played an hour or so I'm not sure it left the same feeling with me. I've given it a thumbs down but it's mixed really. It does feel very sluggish with big pauses in dialogues which would be ok if he voice acting was any good. The main character is ok but the other characters I encountered were painful to listen to and due to the nature of the game, there's a lot of talking. The audio mixing also has varying levels of volume in places. The first fuse puzzle didn't make any sense to me and it was only by accident that I found you could drag and drop items to combine (the game doesn't really tell you that). The inventory often gets in the way of searching and could of been locked or expanded from the corner. The style of graphics is probably the most appealing thing really, although some animations are on loop and just seem odd and distracting. Could do with some polish but ultimately I didn't really enjoy it.
This game really makes you feel like a detective… mostly because you’ll end up snooping through stuff that definitely isn’t yours. Between breaking windows, picking locks, and poking into people’s business, I had a blast. The noir look is spot-on, and the story kept me glued to the screen until the end. It’s not often a point-and-click adventure feels this immersive, but NoseBound pulls it off. If you’re into mystery games and want something stylish with a bit of grit, this is the one to grab.
