it's a very fun game, enough so that I bought it here after buying it on my switch (since switch typically gets updates months after PC and I was hoping the game would be further along here)! As fun as it is, I do have a few complaints... I think there needs to be a major overhaul of the gardening system, first and foremost. It is incredibly frustrating to have all of the flowers turn to fruits at the same time as all the plants start to wither. You end up losing a LOT of fruit because you're given like half of a second to collect it, but you are too busy trying to make sure the plants don't die... it doesn't help that it is weirdly difficult to get the gauge to go away, so you end up button mashing for a minute because you want to get the fruit and you need to click five times to keep the plant alive. I also feel like we aren't given enough flowers/fruits for how much we end up losing. It sucks to have to wait 20+ seconds to get anything. It would also be cool to have some kind of dormancy system or something along those lines that would let us completely ignore a plant. It doesn't bloom and doesn't wither, allowing you to focus on the other plants because you somehow ended up with 40 of one type of flower but 2 of the others! Also we NEED more fairies. 90% of the orders you get need honey, but you only get a fairy like once a week and chances are, she also wants candy and will give you like 2 honey. I end up rejecting nearly all of my orders because I simply don't have honey.
A sweet, cozy life sim with great art and good vibes — but missing a little magic in the gameplay. In Nora: The Wannabe Alchemist, you play as a young witch kicked out of school after a potion experiment goes boom. You return to your grandma’s village house to start over: growing herbs, foraging, chatting with the locals, and brewing potions to sell and fulfill quests. It’s got a lovely hand-drawn style, cute characters, and a gentle pace — perfect for players who like farming sims, cozy life games, and slow, low-stakes storytelling. That said, the potion-making could’ve used more interaction (a mini-game, maybe?) to break up the repetition. It leans a little grindy at times. Still, I had a lovely time. It’s charming and relaxing — ideal for winding down or playing in between heavier games. 👍 Recommended for cozy gamers, art lovers, and chill witchy vibes.
This game is cute and has it's own charm. I like the art style and the simplicity of the game play, it makes it very cozy and fun to play. I first started playing this game on a different PC and when I built my new one and launched it, there was no save. So do be careful if you do the same thing, you might lose your save. Also if you don't save properly you can lose hours of work which I did with the save before that since the only save I had was the auto saves. So if you accidentally load a new game then it overwrites your auto save since there is only 1 auto save option. The reason this happened to me was because I was trying to get the achievements for finding all the lady bugs and feathers. I believe they were glitched since I started a new save and they were all there. I noticed not too long ago that the developer did a patch fix so that probably fixed the items that were missing. On the note of the game being simplistic and easy, once you unlock candy making I find that the game starts to become tedious. You need honey which you get from completing orders for fairies. But, the fairies can also request candy for honey which I find to be redundant especially since you do not get that many fairy customers and a lot of the higher paying customers request candy so its hard to keep up. I think that the developer should make it so fairies cannot request candy for honey, I think the game play would be a lot smoother that way. All in all it's a good game for $9. Though, I would only recommend this game to someone who is into repetitive cozy games.
Reviewing before the full game is released. I wasn't expecting a time management-style cozy game, but it is mostly fun completing the orders, and the narrative challenges make it interesting to give the plant harvesting grind worth it. Really cute art style. Took me a while to get used to the idea that the next stage of a quest might require you to complete another day in order to move forward (e.g., for the shop-keeper to get a question mark bubble that needs to be clicked on). Overall, really enjoying it! Looking forward to the last part.
I was lucky enough to get a free key for this game and can I just say, it's so much fun! I played about 4 hours of it on my stream and really enjoyed myself. It's so easy to loose track of time while playing. I found myself completely fixated trying to fulfill all my orders. Perhaps a little too fixated, I'm really hoping to continue this more and hopefully get into more of the story! I highly recommend this game to those that enjoy a repetitive system of routine! A very relaxing game and I simply adore the music!
if you have a Mac do not get this game, I have literally not even got to play it because it wont load, I attempted to contact the company and no response at all... lost my money for nothing...
