About
Kento, a warrior of the Kozuki clan, returns home after war to find his family’s sacred Nōmen mask shattered and an ancient evil unleashed upon his bloodline. As corruption spreads through the castle, he must fight possessed allies, uncover hidden relics, and restore the seal that has contained “The Nohmen’s course” for generations.
Bound by duty and guilt, Kento’s final mission may require the ultimate sacrifice to prevent the darkness from consuming the world.

Nohmen : Blood Rites was a pleasant suprise for me, I was looking for some new free games and this one looked interesting. I truly enjoyed playing this game and I will be coming back to play again to finish the whole game. I found most of the game pretty fun. My only super big critique would be the combat. At times the combat was very bland and boring. In most fights all you really had to worry about was how your timing on parry/attack was. Combat also felt not threatening as the enimies typically didn't do much for damage. Gameplay : 8/10 Story : 5/10 Fun Factor : 6/10 I understand this is a early access game so not everything is finished or perfect but I really hope that when the game is done that the combat has been slightly altered to be more engaging for the player. Overall : 6.5/10
I actually really enjoyed this game. Whole game took me about 48 minutes so it is very short. Only bad thing I have to say is that the interactions with objects were a bit fiddley later in the game. It plays similar to an old Resident Evil game, but with a sword instead of a gun (so I personally enjoyed it much more). :)
