Really enjoying this product. Highly recommended for anyone who is a visual thinker. I use this program exclusively for mapping out processes for Salesforce. I've been in contact with the developer (super cool guy) and he has been very kind, open and receptive to my ideas on how to improve on what he has created. Looking forward to seeing where this product goes. Keep up the great work Brian!

Noda is a free to play VR program that is for a space to build and share 3D mental models – mind maps, storyboards, network or flow diagrams, project plans – to enhance productivity, understanding and awareness. It worked on my HTC Vive and Index system, looked ok, played ok, sounded ok. The paid DLC is to convert the free version to the Full price version. The free version has limitations but it can be useful. Has in-game instructions. Try it, if you are looking for mind mapping software.
This is fantastic! I got this to map out a book im writing and it has helped me stay on track with plotting and stuff. I cant wait to see what cool stuff they add to it. :)
[PROS] Someone make Visio in VR. You create nodes and it's easy to snap lines in between There's some level of customization with colors, shapes, and images. Having a diagram that's room scale is super useful for programmers: data schemas, software architecture, etc... It looks great and it even has cool background music [CONS] You can only size each node / shape a certain amount. That was a little disappointing. I either wasn't able to teleport or I couldn't figure it out. Either way, it's a problem. This is a minor gripe but it would be nice if this was social. That would be a cool work meeting [VERDICT] Even though it's a little limited, this is still totally worth the buy. If this keeps getting continually improved, I wouldn't be surprised if either Microsoft or Facebook bought out the developer.
Great app for laying out your ideas spatially. Really like the export to .csv feature.
It's a start. Make some of the items more intuitive (like touching an object to edit it) and I could see myself using this often for school and work projects. Also, the camera for capture seemed to be off.
wonderful tool in stream VR!!
“A mind map is a type of diagram which aims to show visual and spatial relationships between concepts. Mind maps can be useful as a form of note-taking, studying, project planning, brainstorming, and more. Traditional mind maps are two dimensional but Noda intuitively adds a third dimension thanks to the power of natural input via the Rift and Vive.”
Mind Mapping has been around since the 70's as a semi-structured way to organize one's thoughts and planning around a central idea. Using VR Noda provides users Mind Mapping on steroids! Noda is an invaluable tool to those wanting to optimize their brain power and leverage the power of VR in organizing and generating thoughts and ideas around a specific topic or effort. Want to map out your life goals, organize a research paper, author a novel, or plan a party. You can do it better in Noda! The meditative, isolated nature of the app + VR simply lends itself to the planning and idea generating process. It also provides a gamified, creative space thats pleasant to work in. Ill jump in for a few minutes several times a week just to walk around my maps. More often then not that alone generates more ideas and helps flesh out plans i may have started weeks before.
