If I had paid any money for this game I'd have been mad. Repetitive gameplay loop (even for its length), the WORST aiming controls on controller I've ever seen (knife-throwing sections are infuriating, especially when you have to do it while moving), and bland levels with repetitive environments. Controls are clunky and hitboxes are so poor that enemies will hit you even when their model doesn't connect at all. Some attacks are essentially unavoidable and the game will spawn enemies literally on top of you with no indication. The main mechanic is frustrating more than fun because the devs will artificially limit what you can do with it at pre-determined points to make the game more challenging in an inorganic way. The level transition doors look the same as every other door, so you have no idea if you're leaving a level before it's too late, at which point you cannot return until you beat the game. Some pits will insta-kill you and some you have to jump into to progress, again with no visual differentiation. Avoid.

Tengo que admitir que me llevé una agradable sorpresa con este título. Gráficos bonitos, animaciones bien trabajadas y muy fluido. Aunque es cortito, si se nota que hubo empeño por parte de los desarrolladores. Aunque estoy seguro que lo regalaron para promocionar su segunda entrega, si lo ves en descuento, te recomiendo que lo compres. 8 de 10.

Fun game! I'm no expert, but it feels comfortable to call this a "metroidvania-like" game. It's got magic, it's got spells, it's got nooks AND crannies! The lack of a map doesn't make this a chore: quite the opposite! the maps have a nice way of looping back around, so you never feel like you're "lost in a big map" which is good because there isn't a map but you wouldn't even notice! Combat is fast: you hack and slash and burn your enemies. It gets kind of bogged down sometimes when you're battling many things at once and casting spells and hopping all over the place but the game never crashed or stuttered on me, combat kept hacking away! Story is light but there is lore to be found. Kind of a bittersweet story, but what classic adventure isn't? Definitely try it out, worth the time and money!
