No Way Out

So I had fun with this, but I won't lie: I was a little disappointed overall. While it presents an intriguing little world with some interesting setup, there's not much payoff and a few nonsensical aspects that feel like they were added more to make you wonder than to actually provide a good mystery. I'll provide a spoiler warning for my main issue regarding this: [spoiler] The ending that has you descending a lift to watch a whole planet explode was pretty fascinating in the moment, but afterwards feels like it was there more for the purpose of shock than for any narrative depth. There are no hints or clues that could give you ideas to work on and make such a mystery feel necessary, it simply feels tacked-on. [/spoiler] Beyond that, the rest is atmospheric and moody, it presents the monotony of its concept pretty well, and can get to you the way these things do in real life. If you like something simple, with potentially no explanation, it's good for a giggle, but if you want something to linger with you, it won't be this.
