About
You are a Neural Organic Replicant Model, or N.O.R.M. You wake in a mysterious facility and quickly realize you are not alone. The facility’s artificial intelligence has taken over - and the result is horrific.
Build on the successes of every run, looting everything you can extract with, unlocking new weapons, useful gear, and meaningful attachments as you delve deeper into the facility. You sense your humanity slipping away as you become the monster you need to be to escape… if you were ever human at all.
Procedurally Generated Runs
Facility layouts, encounters, vent connections, and loot paths are randomized every run. No two attempts are the same, forcing constant adaptation and planning.
Tactical Combat
Crawl through vents with a suppressed rifle or take enemies head-on with a fully automatic shotgun. You are the agent of emergent chaos.
Extraction-Based Risk Loop
If you want to keep it, survive long enough to extract with it. If you want to build it later, turn it in to Terminal.
Persistent Meta Progression
Death is inevitable and progress is accumulative. Materials and implants persist across each life, making each N.O.R.M. more powerful than the last.
Meaningful Gear & Loadout Decisions
Weapons, attachments, and gear change how you play and the choices you make. Experiment with loadouts to survive with whatever you can find.
Every death is a chance to learn.
Every life is a chance to evolve into something too powerful to contain.

I'm having a great time with this game. The learning curve is steep and you're gonna die a lot but once you start figuring it out I you'll get hooked
I most definitely recommend No Time For Pants! At the moment some bugs need to be squashed, but I wouldn't say that they keep me from playing the game at all. Even though they affect the experience, they don't ruin it. I like the stealthy and tactical feeling of the game. It feels good sneaking around with your fully kitted weapons and cool tactical gear. The sound design is awesome, it nails the atmosphere and vibe of the game. Weapons sound and feel weighty and punchy, which makes them quite satisfying. The game also nails the visual style. The game is really hard and unforgiving. The enemies will tear you to pieces if you're not careful. You need to go through the levels one step at a time. Do not rush in thinking you can go full Rambo at higher alert levels, because the game will fk you up. Taking a slower approach and picking off enemies where possible is pretty much always preferable, except for some rooms where you have no choice but to go guns blazing, which makes for some tense and butt-clenching moments. All the different systems and mechanics at play, with a lot of different attachments for both your weapons and gear, plus the augment upgrades for your character, are all very cool with their respective perks, trade-offs and visual changes. Even though I haven't unlocked, seen and experienced everything yet, what's here so far more than makes up for the small cost of the game in my opinion. There's a lot of weapons, attachments, gear, tools and upgrades to discover. I'd say that this is an easy buy if you're ready to deal with some bugs and a lot of dying, but all the dying makes the progression even more impactful and satisfying. If the dev keeps improving and fixing things, this could become a real gem.
Game is pretty unique and fun for a roguelike. It's in a much better state now that it has added door peeking and bullet penetration. Now my biggest gripe currently is with how the upgrades work. They are a permanent stat upgrade for your character once unlocked, but the catch is they slowly drain your battery. If your battery is depleted it will drain health instead. The issue is once you start to buy too many of them, the stacking drain gets a little ridiculous to keep up with. They cannot be unequipped and you spawn with them all on a new run. It leads to the start of new runs always keeping you at 0 battery, unable to use stuff like flashlights or night vision, and having a constant health drain. It also doesn't stop the drain when in the Terminal, which needs to be an exception. It's the safezone where you take your time organizing and gearing up. I am now unable to take my time making decisions due to the drain eating away at me. Still a fun game nonetheless, just be wary of the upgrades until they are balanced a little better.
I'm having fun with the game so far. Gathering up resources and trading them at the terminal for new gear is satisfying. I appreciate the huge variety of stuff…lots of guns to find and plenty of wearable items to boost stats or change your look. The sound effects are great. The guns have a nice punch to them and the screaming when you die is both unsettling and hilarious.
Surprisingly one of the best little extraction type games I've played, the combat is rampant, good scenarios like Half-Life side Scrolling style and the design of the Weapons and Gear is great along with the attachment system. The developer listen to community feedback and is very active making updates. I'm excited for future updates.
Very fun and interesting game with lots of cool mechanics. It is challenging but theres a lot to see and unlock. The writing is very funny as well. Definitely well worth the price of admission. Frequent updates as well.
TLDR; Great 2D extraction shooter you can hop in, do a couple of runs and hop out whenever you feel the itch for such a genre. Helpful dev who's quick to fix issues and bugs that arise. Plus the game's rather cheap, so I can't not recommend it! -------------- A brutal, unforgiving 2D extraction shooter in a sense. The pixel art works great and looks good, audio plays a big part when you can't see above or in front of you in some cases and the sense of dread when you walk down a darkened corridor and your batteries just ran out brings out a great experience out of the game. I've not had a huge amount of time to sink into the game yet, but the few ( I believe it was five or six first areas ) that I've seen, have been crafted with thoughtfulness. While they are randomly generated, the general layout remains the same, allowing you to familiarize yourself to areas after a few passes, though you'll still be surprised by many powerful enemies that might or might not be there. The Discord server for the game is still small, but growing a good bit and the developer has quickly fixed issues that have arisen. They are active and respond to questions and bug reports. Overall the game is fun, but hard. I recommend patience over the first few hours since you are likely to perish multiple times before you can get a good foothold with materials and equipment. Thankfully, if you manage to get a piece of equipment to the "hub" of sorts and break it down into materials, you unlock it as a permanent recipe to craft whenever you want and have the materials to do so. This also goes for seasonal items, at least for now, where you can unlock them during seasonal events and use them whenever. However I believe the developer mentioned that this might change in the future, as some of said items can be a tad strong.
This is a super fun game, I know this is the case. As the more I play it the thinner my legs get and people wonder why I am running around with full kit but no pants or shoes. I can say that......is none of their business. I am too busy doin NORM sh*t with my ♥♥♥♥ on fire, thought I was smart.......that NORM learned the hard way and he owed me like 40 silicon too. Buy the game, get lost in it, become one with Terminal, be a NORM!!! Steam nor the lead dev is responsible for any chafed nipples from loading too much into your back pack.
my pants is my medkit and its enough
Great game, Fun and challenging. 10/10
