About
NO RELOADING is a stunt-driven action game where skill, style, and creative combat combine in your mission to rescue your best friend.
As Roger the robot, wield powerful tractor beam technology to turn both yourself and the environment into deadly weapons against the evolving goblin menace who has kidnapped your best doggo, Duke.
Your tractor beam limbs aren't just weapons... they're tools for unlimited creativity. Grab enemies' guns, throw explosive barrels, capture bullets mid-air, or launch yourself into acrobatic maneuvers. Every object in the environment is a potential weapon, and every movement can chain into devastating combinations.
The more stylish your combat, the longer you survive. Chain a wall-run into a cartwheel into a slide, perform bullet-time somersaults while dual-wielding miniguns, and execute perfectly timed throws to maintain your style meter. This isn't just for show... your very survival depends on staying awesome!
Perfect your moves in Survival Trials, a homebrewed video game turned training ground where Duke once served as your virtual dungeon master. Invent new abilities, synergize with augments, then put them to the test in an escalating war against increasingly sophisticated goblin hordes. Each victory brings you closer to rescuing your best doggo!
Forget that reload button! Your tractor beam powers let you instantly grab fresh weapons from enemies or turn anything into a projectile. Master the art of weapon-switching mid-combo to maintain unrelenting pressure on your foes.
Transform Survival Trials into an interactive experience where viewers can aid or challenge you. Give your audience the power to provide weapons and upgrades, or let them spawn enemies and create chaos... the choice is theirs!

Everything I wrote for the playtest version is true for this one. Buy it if you want nonstop action with movement more complex than infinitely strafing.
This game is a hidden gem. It's a roguelike with meta progression in the form of unlocking upgrade choices when leveling- such as more damage, more accuracy, more etc while jumping/sliding etc, stat upgrades for weapons, theres a lot. The numbers rolled for upgrades can occasionally be absolutely insane- like increasing your kick range by 800%, something like that, which makes for hilarious runs. the game performs like butter, it's very well optimized to a shocking degree for a solo-dev game, especially considering the unique mechanics and way things are calculated for score and such. Framerate addicts can easily hold a solid 240 fps while playing. I suck at writing reviews, buy the game its sick.
An absolute blast to the past for references and so many different styles and levels! any fan of Doom would be a fan of this!! I highly recommend playing this!!!!
10/10!! Game is good fun! If youre for a good solid shooter, look no further! This game brings in a bit of nostalgia and snippy one liners. Its a 3rd person (single player) shooter that takes place in a virtual environment where your faithful companion Duke plays along side of you sending waves of baddies after you! If youre a streamer, this game also integrates in with your Twitch Chat so that they can add a bit of help (or harm) to your game play! The developers are also active within their community to provide feedback and suggestions to, adding a component once thought lost to the gaming world. This game is that perfect sit back, no brain, just have fun style game! Looking forward to seeing what other nostalgia aspects are to be added! Definitely worth checking out!!! Disclosure: Had the chance to check this game out in its Beta state as well and was not disappointed with that build.
Found out about this game since it has a streamer mode, and thought it was cool I could take down streamers with the clever use of keywords in the chat. Creating a build throughout a run is fun because theres so many ways to specialize, and oftentimes its unintentionally for me. My best run so far has been a cartwheel throwing build. (I have a streamer mode gameplay video of it on my youtube account 'cherryVision'). Normally I don't stream or even watch streams, but the streamer mode is such a cool aspect that I think makes streaming actually worthwhile. The different combination of stunts, special abilities, upgrades, and weapons give a lot of replayability, its clear a lot of thought went into these factors which modify how you can play. Another big reason I like the game is the quantity of enemies. My other favorite games often have hordes: Mount and Blade, Darktide, World War Z. Mowing down occasional hordes of legal combatants makes me HAPPY. I love ALL references to the original 1999 Unreal Tournament. I think it is the first multiplayer PC game I ever played as a kid. (Even though I just played with bots) This is a game that is easy to learn effective basics, but would be very difficult to master and be fast at clearing(while also having the stream chat try to end you), and that is the balance sweet spot. Things I think would be cool to add: More customizable effects (Like post process, or some gritty blood effects) Better sword animation/sound More level randomness early on for when I up the difficulty and will start dying often Streamer mode should have tons more trivia, even if it isn't related to the lore of the game (Also spontaneous thought, but maybe an optional setting so that only the first viewer who answers a trivia question wins the streamer mode $money$) Customizeable character or just his color would be sweet as well also, Add VR NOW so I can accidently shoot dodge into the couch (or drywall)
Speaking for my Twitch community and myself, we can say that Streamer Mode is the BEST part of the game. Viewers having the ability to spawn enemies, extra lives, etc. is very unique and extremely fun (even if your viewers want you to lose... haha). On the other hand, I enjoyed the gameplay (especially the Roger-Time along w/ the dodge moves). I felt like I was in the Matrix! I highly recommend this game to any streamer to play w/ their community.
Just "loaded" this up (pun intended) and it rocks! If you're a fan of bullet time and third person action shooters, this will hit the mark. The shooting mechanics remind of the of the quick action shooting of Max Payne, except this has a pup companion. It seems like there is a lot of depth with an upgrade system and new abilities too. I'm looking forward to digging into this more and seeing how far I can get in the trials!
quite fun little action shooter but crashes preeeetty frequently on linux. not listed as compatable on the store, so what can ya complain about. reccommend if you're on windows and enjoy action shooters
