レビュー時点で500時間ほどプレイ 自己ベスト21.33億、OCHINCHIN 1093 役を出すだけで楽しいインスタントな面もありつつ、慣れてきて自己ベストを狙い始めるとちゃんと面白い。 NKODICEは一発ネタとスルメゲー両方の性質を併せ持つ♣ アップデートによってSteamの実績とランキングが一部更新されないバグが発生(恐らく回避不可)するようになってしまったが、それが気にならないならおすすめ

It is said that making a game immerse is a good thing. Apparently, not always. NKO dice is the adaptation of the traditional Japanese dice game Chinchirorin where with 5 dice you have to form words using the corresponding kanji in their faces. With that, you get a limited number of rolls and can nudge the table in order to try to influence the luck based result given then the concave plate these are thrown to. Furthermore, if a word is formed you then win a new roll, maybe recover some nudges and even get more dice for the next one. Sounds simple enough so how do you form these words? What even are they? That’s the thing, if you don't know Japanese the rulebook doesn’t really help at all since there’s no clear indication of what symbol corresponds to anything, less so words themselves. Add that to the fact there’s little you can do if a thrown dice bounces off the plate, there’s an annoying blurriness effect you can’t disable and some nudges don’t affect anything and you end up with a lottery simulator camouflaged as a dice game. So yeah, while one may appreciate the recreation of the real life game, the gameplay loop isn’t really engaging at all. And even if you go for the achievements, some don’t really work.
