This game is very good. While some may say that it's "just another RPG Maker game" you have to admit there's a lot of story to unpack here alone. I'd say this is more of a visual novel RPG Maker game hybrid, since there's no fighting. That's probably what turns people off, but for people like me, the story is really intriguing. You get to piece together what happens just through the dialogue alone, and if you take the time to explore you ARE rewarded for your efforts greatly. (Such as the Vigarium Artifacts, and what have you.) I feel like this game only gets a bad rep because it was 10 dollars, then became Free afterwards, especially since it was originally on GameJolt first. Please try this game, I beg of you. It's genuinely an interesting story, and I really like how the main antagonist is handled. It's like a fresh take on the "rogue AI" thing for me.
Originally a $9.99 game that went Free. I found the exploration and its story elements boring and about fell asleep multiple times while playing. The 3D environments were neat to see considering the engine used.

RPG Maker strikes again! NIRAVASI is one of hundreds of low effort RPG Maker asset/construction kit flips spamming the Steam catalog, made with the RPG Maker video game construction kit... in their own words, "Our easy to use tools are simple enough for a child." Like all RPG Maker "games", this is essentially a bunch of low quality/canned assets from RPG Maker coupled with a cringeworthy high school anime club fan fiction. This time it's worth noting the "developer" displayed an extraordinary amount of talent for the type of "developer" that thinks "I don't know how to develop games at all so I'll use a construction kit to do it for me then publish it on Steam through Steam Direct for $100, then I can tell everyone I'm a real game developer". Instead of the usual 2D retro pixel RPG Maker asset flip with a cringe inducing high school anime club dropout fan-fiction story, we have the rarely used RPG Maker 3D engine with a cringe inducing high school anime club dropout fan-fiction story. Also, there's furries, because I presume the developer is a furry. I wonder why this failed so catastrophically? It is a mystery. As with all RPG Maker games, the poor quality engine displays badly in fullscreen and doesn't have full HD support or any graphics tweaking options, making this unacceptable for any dedicated modern PC gamer. The point can be made that the intention of RPG Maker is to make demos and small games to pass around friends, and shouldn't be used for "professional" game development. Like most RPG Maker shovelware and asset flips, the game features extremely low quality copy + pasted 2D retro pixel art, looks awful, and has even worse gameplay. RPG Maker is an absolutely terrible construction kit, and never results in games of any reasonable quality or value to gamers. It's free... now, but it wasn't before. The developer was charging $10 USD for this. I'm not kidding, don't laugh, they genuinely thought it was ok to charge $10 USD for RPG Maker asset flip garbage. That thought alone is more amusing than this entire "game". Price barriers, especially on low quality products, can be a direct cause of failure. It's a nice gesture for the game to be given away for free, but it also tells us that the game wasn't good enough to succeed as a paid product. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 2 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off.
Niravasi has to be one of my new favorite RPG Maker games. It is not only really impressive for the engine, but also just impressive for practically being the developer's first game. The story is very well written and did a great job at keeping my interest from start to finish. All of the environmental art is solid, and Mura's character portraits are nice and expressive. The music is extremely fitting and nice to listen to. I'm intentionally avoiding spoilers in the review because I want you to play the game yourself. Probably the only two issues I have with the game are the human character portraits and the Ishani Bazaar. The human portaits do not look very good, being honest. I understand that they are dev art (and myself as a programmer I am not really good at art either... yet), but they could still use work. My issue with the Ishani Bazaar is just that I felt it was very unclear of where the game wanted me to go. That could be a me issue though. Overall this game is incredible and if you are fond of very story-driven and passion-made RPGs, this is a must from me!
This is game is awesome for a free game 10/10

i've had alot of fun piecing the story together the game all around felt very relaxing and i had so much fun playing it and getting all the endings the character design was memorable. All around great game would like to see more!! Ps my hours got corrupted while playing offline and they went from 14.6 to 3.6
This is the first pixel-style puzzle game I have completed. Although English is not my native language and I can only have a rough understanding of the plot, I think this is a good game that makes people want to play it again. Finally, I want to ask, will there be a sequel to this game?
I adore the music, art and environment. I'm surprised it's free with the time you can get out of it, and there's still more secrets I'm sure to have missed. I'd put some money down for it. Edit: Worth replaying too, new update added some secrets, even got the new ending. Might go back to get the other endings too.
