About
Nipi is a curious young dragon who finds himself trapped in a strange and unfamiliar world.
While exploring a forgotten temple, Nipi comes across an ancient glowing crystal. Touching it triggers a curse that pulls him into another realm.
He wakes up injured, with a broken wing and no clear way back home. His only lead is the enormous structure towering above him, the Ancient Tree. If he wants to find a way out, he will have to climb it.
Nipi is a 3D platformer focused on exploration, movement, and progression as you make your way through the different areas of the Ancient Tree.
Along the way, you will discover strange crystals, solve puzzles, meet the inhabitants of this world, and complete side quests. New abilities will let you move through the environment in different ways and return to older areas to reach places that were previously inaccessible.
Metroidvania-inspired progression: Unlock new movement abilities and use them to discover new paths throughout previous areas.
3D platforming: Jump, glide, climb, and make your way across moving, breakable, and hidden platforms.
Exploration and collectibles: Search for orbs, hidden areas, puzzles, and side quests scattered throughout the world.
A strange fantasy world: Explore the Ancient Tree and meet its inhabitants while learning more about the realm, the crystal, and the curse that brought Nipi there.
The crystal that brought Nipi here may also be the key to escaping, but the answers he needs are somewhere near the top of the Ancient Tree.
Climb the tree, uncover its secrets, and find a way to break the curse before Nipi becomes trapped there for good.
