Ninja Brigade feat. Jonah Weingarten

Ich sag’s wie’s ist: Ninja Brigade featuring Jonah Weingarten ist ein verdammter Liebesbrief an alle Retro und Metroidvania Fans da draußen. Die Steuerung ist butterweich so präzise und angenehm, dass man das Movement einfach feiert. Pixel-Art? Absolut on point. Das Game sieht aus wie ein 90er Klassiker, der in der Jetztzeit geboren wurde. Und die Musik? Mein Gott, die Tracks sind so catchy, ich hör mir die Sounds wahrscheinlich auch noch beim Putzen und Kochen an. Die Mischung aus Action, Atmosphäre und herrlich bescheuerten Witzen sorgt dafür, dass es einfach nie langweilig wird. Es gibt Minispiele, Easter Eggs, gefühlt 1000 Sammelobjekte und als Collection Fan bin ich im Himmel. Die Bossfights haben genau die richtige Dosis Anspruch, vor allem abhängig davon, wie viel du einsammelst oder ob du einfach durchrusht. Bisher hab ich 12 Stunden auf der Uhr und bin noch nicht mal durch – für die 20 € ist das ein Geschenk da man für mehr Geld oft weniger bekommt als hier. Wer Retro, Pixel Art und Metroidvania ohne nervigen Schnickschnack liebt, wird hier fündig. Und hey die Achievements motivieren, nochmal zu starten und wirklich alles rauszuholen. Ich würde es jederzeit wieder kaufen. 💯 Empfehlung von mir. 10/10 Optik. 10/10 Sound. 10/10 Spaß. Mich hat das Game komplett abgeholt.

absolute Empfehlung für Leute die Metroidvania mögen

I really enjoyed playing the Game - really worth it! I try to explain without spoiling ;) Difficulty: The Game itself is a bit more difficult which i definitely liked about it. One downside is that the difficulty within the rooms/obsticles vary in kind of extreme ways - some seem to be tough but are pretty easy to manage and others are so challenging that you could spend multiple lifes there - but overall it's pretty balanced. Through the many possibilities with upgrades and supplies you can even make the hardest fight into an even duel just by investing time to farm - so it's beatable for everyone at their own level Leveldesign/Music: Very nice and smart leveldesign. All the areas and their designs fit pretty good and demand backtracking for the Progress - which is a main point in Metroidvanias for me. The settings and the npcs fit very well and the designs are great (you might find some acquintance ;) - even though i still hate the frogs as enemies!!! The Music is just amazing, every track is a banger and i just love the cave sound and could listen to it for hours. Mechanics/Controls: I played with and 8BitDo SN30pro and it worked perfectly. The controls are smooth and and very precise. I never had any issues with controls or movement. The skills and mechanics have a cool features and i really liked that both forms have their individual skills. The Petsystem and the different skills offer multiple ways to solve obsticles and passages so the player has more than just the one given option to make progress - i think that is one of the best features in the game. Maingame/Sidequest: The game offers the typical Metroidvania mainquest (i won't call it stroy since there is just the main topic to beat all bosses) which already took about 10h for me (already knew parts of the game before). Besides that you can do several quests for achievements, collect many items for some visuals or companions, kill enemies for Upgrades (which is kind of necessary imo) and find/play many Minigames. Since you have to clear the game under 6h for an achievement i'm pretty sure the game with 100% offers about 30-40h so you don't even pay 1€ per hour and a good deal for me. In the end i can recommend this came to anyone who likes Metroidvanias an Pixelart. You can play it "hardcore" or take your time and get supplies to make it less challenging so it's a well balanced game for everyone. And the best for me: so many cute animals :) definitely one of my favorite Metroidvanias

Ninja Brigade ist ein mit viel Herzblut gestalteter Metroidvania-Plattformer der fantastisch aussieht und fantastisch klingt mit vielen tollen Ideen und liebevollen Details. Für ein kleines Indie-Studio ein betrachtliches Erstlingswerk, dass in Zukunft sogar noch erweitert wird. Den Anfang fand ich persönlich etwas zäh und das Spiel ist teilweise echt knallhart aber je weiter man kommt desto besser wird das Spiel. Ich kann also nur empfehlen dran zu bleiben. Hatte viel Spaß beim durchspielen. Den Schwierigkeitsgrad kann man sich durch ausnutzen der Minigames (besonders dem Fruitninja-Verschnitt) und dem Nutzen verschiedener Talismane angenehm individuell anpassen. So sollte es eigentlich jeder schaffen Ninja Brigade durchzuspielen.

Awesome Metroidvania with a lot of content, cool and fun quests, a ton of optional stuff, and challenging bosses. I've played through the demo and am amazed by how much more was put into the game with the final release. It'll definitely be worth your time!

Ich habe lange auf dieses Spiel gewartet und wurde nicht enttäuscht! Der Look begeistert mich ebenso wie das Gameplay: Die Steuerung fühlt sich angenehm präzise an, und an einigen kniffligen Stellen kommt es wirklich darauf an, das Movement gut zu beherrschen. Dabei bleibt das Spiel meiner Meinung nach stets fair. Der Soundtrack ist atemberaubend. Und wenn man sich umsieht, entdeckt man überall liebevoll platzierte Easter Eggs und wunderschöne Pixeldetails, die die Welt zum Leben erwecken. Für mich ist dieses Game ein absolutes Must-Have für alle Pixel- und Metroidvania-Fans!

Honestly, this game surprised me. Fun combat once you get the hang of it, cute side stuff, and the vibe is just cool. Exploring and fighting is a lot of fun even though there are some really tough platforming parts. But the red panda is a clear 10/10. 😄 It's an interesting metroidvania - feels different but in a good way.

Mein erstes Metroidvania und es wurde nicht zu viel versprochen. Trotz knackigem Härtegrad und einigen Toden verliert man nicht den Spaß an dem Game. Zudem hält einen die Musik bei Laune.
