About
Do you miss the good old days of MMORPGs? Nin Online is Inspired by classic MMORPGs and anime from the 2000s. Free-to-play with zero Pay-to-win mechanics.
Choose from 3 Villages or become a Rogue Ninja
Start off as in one of three factions, grow up in the safety of the gates of each village. But once you're strong enough, you can choose to abandon your home and become a hermit... or even a rogue ninja.
Open World PvP for the Modern Era
Nin Online's game design encourages Open World Player vs. Player combat, while allowing players to take a break from the chaos and focus on training in some areas. Safe Zones allow you to train while War Zones enforce Open World PvP. Challenge seekers and chill players both have a home in our Ninja World.
Deep Character Customization
Choose to be part of a clan, join an organization or sign a contract with an animal familiar. Combined with thousands of equipable items, no two ninja will ever look or be the same. Nin Online is a game where you are encouraged to express yourself. Looking good doesn't cost you to lose fights.
Friendly and active community & developers
The greatest feature of Nin Online is it's tight knit community and social features. The developers are active in our chat channels and have been constantly listening to feedback improving it since it's release. The game is still in active development with updates being made on a weekly and sometimes daily basis.

Solo unfriendly = 1) Very Discord heavy and even still the prestigious Orgs (you get strong buffs that no one else gets) are gatekept 2) you will get zerged or jumped by lvl 70s, while being lvl 30, they will trash talk you as your dead on the floor, then defame you just bc they can. The moment you tell them they are bozos for being toxic, they get their mod buddies to mute you Microtransactions - You made a mistake on your build? 5$ They changed the game to open world pvp while having mechanics that are exploitable by high level players. The game is extremely grindy and your reward will be unfair matchups 99% of the time. Im starting to think the Dev made this just for him and his buddies to have fun at the expense of new players (there are no new players - just vets on alts) Game doesnt kick ppl out ever, so theres a baseline of 50 AFK players ( alts) and 125 players Max on a good day, which is not enough to go about the game without interacting with the bad actors. I have several accounts and i many hours so dont let my play time fool you. Ive played this since 2016 before it was on steam and the devs shot themself in the foot with terrible pvp changes and letting a bunch of moderators play the game ( yes mods actively play the game on many alts) - Actual clown behavior Dont waste your time on this one boys

$10 to reset skills is crazy
Community is ♥♥♥♥, for a game to have such a small player base they support griefing of lower levels but shun at level player vs player. Flat skill ceiling theyll gank you with 5 to 6 players and talk ♥♥♥♥, however once you catch them without their people they will switch over to a max toon and slap you even if its the same nation... The mask system completely ruins any balance I legit had a player mask up ( they put on a mask and you cant " see " who is the player name anymore ) kill me on a higher level toon and then turn around and cry when i kill their character. Must be a super small tight nit community because they treat everyone else like trash. Sand guys seemed chill two other nations were terrible, if you're new and you dont have a posse of friends to play with I'd play something else and not waste your time.
Dont waste your time unless you like toxic children camping constantly and ruin any fragment of fun this game could have.
Same toxic PVP community as in everyother game
Gorgeous game with a dead awful new player experience. You WILL get spamkilled no matter what you do, and you’ll be forced to grind endlessly as well. The PvE portion of the game is extremely lackluster. Mobs are huge HP sponges that do nothing but constantly TP to you and reuse player spells. There’s very little depth or variety to the PvE, and fighting most mobs quickly becomes a tedious war of attrition rather than something genuinely engaging. “But the game is PvP” would be a decent justification for the state of the PvE... but the thing is, you’re forced to go through said PvE in order to do anything in PvP. If PvE is essentially a mandatory gateway to the main part of the game, it shouldn’t feel this neglected. Community wise it’s a mess. You will get trash talked constantly, spamkilled/spawn-killed, locked inside buildings, forced to log out, etc. Obviously, PvP heavy games are going to have toxic players, and I’m not expecting the community to be wholesome by any means lol, but the frequency with which these things happen makes the experience especially miserable for new players. There’s very little room to actually learn the game when other players can repeatedly prevent you from playing it. The game is extremely unintuitive. The lack of guidance is really noticeable, and the absolute NEED for a Discord account in order to avoid feeling completely stuck is a bit crazy. Important information feels scattered around, and instead of the game itself teaching you how its systems work, you’re often expected to go digging through Discord or rely on other players to figure things out. On top of that, some of the missions heavily force low level players to randomly run around enemy territory for seemingly no reason. This just ends up with newer players constantly getting killed simply because the game sent them somewhere they had no real business being yet. The main dev having a bit of an attitude towards ANY kind of criticism is a tad off putting as well. I don’t think I’ve EVER read a single “Good idea!” or a “Good point, we’ll work on it!” It’s always some kind of justification followed by a snarky attitude, which is really sad. THere's obviously no need to agree with every criticism or implement every suggestion, but being dismissive toward criticism and throw nothing but a "Then the game is not for you, thanks" is a bit icky. And, unrelated, but it sucks that a game with SUCH pretty, original artwork is currently leaning so heavily towards generative AI for seemingly every single illustration. I’m unsure about the assets, but I wouldn’t be surprised if those were involved as well.
You'd have more fun playing the soulless Naruto games.
holy sh*t i never believed this could be possible. this game is a real representation of the naruto anime series. not just a naruto game, straight up naruto simulator. this game without a doubt is better than the ''real'' naruto games in my opinion. so inspired by how the world of naruto works in the anime its just mind blowing to see something this accurate. iam sure its got its negatives due to not being perfect for the player base since its not a big giant company game, but this game delivers such an accurate ninja world that its just too good even as a 2D game with limitations. i wish somehow they could turn this into a 3D game like the shinobi strike with all the nin online features and definition of success. legit naruto game Masashi Kishimoto would be proud
