About
Do you miss the good old days of MMORPGs? Nin Online is Inspired by classic MMORPGs and anime from the 2000s. Free-to-play with zero Pay-to-win mechanics.
Choose from 3 Villages or become a Rogue Ninja
Start off as in one of three factions, grow up in the safety of the gates of each village. But once you're strong enough, you can choose to abandon your home and become a hermit... or even a rogue ninja.
Open World PvP for the Modern Era
Nin Online's game design encourages Open World Player vs. Player combat, while allowing players to take a break from the chaos and focus on training in some areas. Safe Zones allow you to train while War Zones enforce Open World PvP. Challenge seekers and chill players both have a home in our Ninja World.
Deep Character Customization
Choose to be part of a clan, join an organization or sign a contract with an animal familiar. Combined with thousands of equipable items, no two ninja will ever look or be the same. Nin Online is a game where you are encouraged to express yourself. Looking good doesn't cost you to lose fights.
Friendly and active community & developers
The greatest feature of Nin Online is it's tight knit community and social features. The developers are active in our chat channels and have been constantly listening to feedback improving it since it's release. The game is still in active development with updates being made on a weekly and sometimes daily basis.

Reviews
I have played Nin Online for more than a decade, the 1,700 hours I have on steam pale compared to the in reality 20-30,000 hours I've actually played. Truth be told, as it stands now, I can not recommend this game. The core gameplay mechanic loop is fun... briefly. Do missions, level up, join events, spar, raid/hunt. It's a solid foundation for any game... and then you look under the hood. The games primary fun is the combat which is focused around elemental abilities. With taijutsu/weapon master/medical thrown in as well. Each kit has about 6 jutsu, some have more depending on the village youre in and if there is a separate path you can take. Then there's an albeit small amount of other abilities that are generic, that everyone can get. All of this sounds great on paper, so why can't I recommend it? Because it has been the same gameplay since I started playing. The game has gotten prettier, and snappier. There have been additions such as housing/life skills. None of them are implimented correctly. The games creator does not respect players time whatsoever. It will take you hundreds of thousands of blank scrolls to max your fuinjutsu life skill. Once its maxed out(the equivalent of say 8-10 million ryo which is already unobtainable in any sense because of this terrible unmonitored economy), you will likely have a 2/100 chance of the hardest blank scroll crafting, rather than a 1/100. Absolutely astounding. That leads into the drop rates, which are typically 1/1000 with a 10 minute, 30 minute, or 60 minute spawn. Most of the high end items in the game are duped, which convinces more people to dupe as there's no realistic way to get most items in the game. A lot of my friends that have played with me the last 10 years are broke, with their only potential income being selling any limited time cosmetics that they spent their irl money for, but that noone can afford anyway. Farming is a joke in this game. The creator in his infinite wisdom decided to remove friendly fire, so now you'll have 30 people from a village roll on you at any point while you're trying to farm. But don't worry, you can turn PvP off.. at the expense of 25% of your drop rate. So that 1/1000 drop? Eh, more like 1/1250. Then we can to "promised content". The owner makes his bill from this game now. it's got a decent sized playerbase regardless of if he is inflating the numbers that are advertised. There's a full team now with a competent art team.. But that's where it ends. In 2017 we were promised "advanced masteries" the culmination of your 2 masteries put together to make a 3rd unique mastery. eg fire/water makes steam. light/fire makes dark etc. In 2020 that was cancelled. Now, 6 years later we were promised them again. Low and behold the creator goes missing. The whole staff team tells us the update has been ready for months but he's nowhere to be found. This is getting too long. I'm likely going to be banned from the game for a negative review. Yes, he does do this. So I'll be taking a screenshot of this review to send to steam for if that happens. This game needs a new owner, and it would be great. But until then, don't waste your time.

The game relies heavily on official village Discords, but those spaces are run by players, and access can be heavily gatekept. For a game where village politics and community groups are crucial to the experience, being kept out because of Discord-related criteria, or simply being unable to participate through Discord, makes it difficult to fully engage with the game. Combined with a clique-heavy and often hostile community culture, the result feels exclusionary unless you already come in with a group.
Received a strike for not helping a lvl 17 (definitely an alt) from my village in pvp when I wasn't flagged. They hit someone's escort mission instead of the actual player so that player would get a bounty (forced pvp until hunted down) when trying to protect their charge. There's no alternative way to rebuttal a strike unless you join their discord. GM/Mods don't enforce their rules equally among the player base. They let some get away with spamming messenger eagle that is very far from RP and definitely out of character but when I call someone who is an obvious alt an alt, I catch a warning. Would give this game a positive review as updates are constantly occurring and overhauls are being made for the better but currently the GM staff seem corrupt. They'll let some stuff slide if its from a whale and punish others drastically harder. This is especially true if you don't use discord. They have a 'contact us' on their rule page but I doubt anyone has access to it so I can't even find out why I was given a strike in the first place as that was the only player action I had that day.
Community is ♥♥♥♥, for a game to have such a small player base they support griefing of lower levels but shun at level player vs player. Flat skill ceiling theyll gank you with 5 to 6 players and talk ♥♥♥♥, however once you catch them without their people they will switch over to a max toon and slap you even if its the same nation... The mask system completely ruins any balance I legit had a player mask up ( they put on a mask and you cant " see " who is the player name anymore ) kill me on a higher level toon and then turn around and cry when i kill their character. Must be a super small tight nit community because they treat everyone else like trash. Sand guys seemed chill two other nations were terrible, if you're new and you dont have a posse of friends to play with I'd play something else and not waste your time.
Dont waste your time unless you like toxic children camping constantly and ruin any fragment of fun this game could have.
just for clarity i played this game before steam release While the community may seem welcoming and friendly at first, that impression often changes the longer you play. As you become more involved, the toxicity becomes much more apparent. Like most online games, there are plenty of good people in the community, but the toxic players tend to be the loudest and often dominate discussions, Another issues is server location and ping. Since the servers are based in the United States, PvP can be heavily affected by latency if you're playing from other regions. PvP can be enjoyable, but it can also become incredibly frustrating when you're at a significant ping disadvantage against other players. The game has also suffered from persistent bugs for years. Some have been around since I first started playing, yet many remain unresolved. At the same time, the developers have repeatedly dismissed well-supported community suggestions. A good example is the targeting system. Players have requested improvements on multiple occasions, but the response has consistently been that a better targeting system would make the game "too easy" and eventually lead to demands for features like auto-questing, similar to mobile games. However, the developers later introduced the ability to disable PvP entirely, allowing players to scout without any risk in what is supposed to be a predominantly PvP-focused game. That decision seems inconsistent with their earlier reasoning. Finally, the owner's conduct has also raised concerns. At one point, he reportedly rewarded players for review bombing a company that declined to lease him a boat. Regardless of the circumstances, encouraging that kind of behavior reflects poorly on the game's leadership and speaks for itself.
the controls in this game are terrible
Mataram a própria economia do jogo. Sinceramente, falta valorizar quem ainda joga. Volto a recomendar se um dia arrumarem essa bagunça
it's pretty lame getting hell camped stupid ass zerg gameplay
