As someone who did drive a cart irl i had less problems with controlling ol'boy but id wish he would react a little bit finer when turning. Yes, there are horses out there who are that dull and theyre no pleasure to work with, but from someone who not only trained the horse himself but also for the work hes doing every single night with it, i kinda expected a bit more. Also i was really relieved the ending wasnt what i expected, yet i found it a little bit sudden and also very shallow regarding the horse.

Wir erfahren die sehr melancholische Geschichte eines Mannes dessen dessen bester Freund und einziger Begleiter ein Pferd zu sein scheint. Wir sehen Szenen und Rückblenden seines Alltags im alten London, während wir uns der Herausforderung stellen auf Zeitdruck Latrinen zu entleeren und unser Pferd zu versorgen. Leider ist der Spielablauf nur sehr langsam und ehrlich gesagt auch nicht so wirklich spannend innerhalb der ersten halben Stunde, weswegen wir uns dazu entschieden haben, es so stehen zu lassen. Auf uns wirkte es zwar einzigartig, aber nicht besonders interessant. Wer aber düstere und etwas traurige Stimmung gepaart mit entschleunigtem Gameplay mag, darf hier gerne Zugreifen, denn Qualitativ war es nicht schlecht. An excelent game! Brilliant atmosphere! I came for the horse, I stayed for the story. The gameplay is a bit clunky sometimes, movement can be a bit stiff. But sound + visual design is absolutely excellent. Gameplay is simplistic, and does require planning, don't try and delve in one go, take your time to learn the area, and be willing to go out every time you can to save. And watch out for the sinkholes. Great game!

By far the best horse game I have played!

Good horse management system. Game itself is tedious and feels like labour, as it should. The sewers are insanely difficult to get through without a map, thankfully I found one online.

Nightsoil is about a ♥♥♥♥ shoveler that goes around shoveling ♥♥♥♥. As fun as that sounds, this game is just an exercise in frustration. It's a constant struggle against terrible controls, very little time to do anything, and insta-deaths. I didn't need a whole lot of convincing that being a ♥♥♥♥ shoveler is terrible work, but if life as a ♥♥♥♥ shoveler was as difficult as it is to play this game, I'd have certainly hanged myself.
