Nightmare Adventures: The Witch's Prison

It's old game but I really enjoy It. Lot of challenging puzzles, many of them really original. Story is average with a clifhanger at the end, so it's better buy package with second part. Game is slowly building spooky atmosfere. Graphics is nothing speacial, but for this kind of game It's enough. If you really like soling puzzles this game is made for you. My rating: 7.2/10

Very good game. The puzzles were challenging, and I was able to figure out most of them by myself. I only skipped two puzzles. The story line is simple but good, with an unexpected twist at the end.

I played and completed this game in 2026 on Win 11; the only tweak needed was changing my normal display resolution down to 1024x768 (it might work if slightly higher) ad everything ran great. Creepy without being scary, only 1 HO scene but lots of minigames, none of which are of the same style. I did remove 1 star because there are no "instructions" about the objective of each minigame, so a few "obscure" ones end up being trial-and-error to figure out what the ultimate goal is. Took me 6 hours to complete WITHOUT skipping any; a few are tedious, but overall, a great linear ADVENTURE game. PS: I'll now move forward to its sequel, "The Turning Thorn".

I've played a lot of HO games, and this one had much more challenging puzzles than most games I've come across. I actually find the cheesy story intriguing too!

This is such a fun & challenging game. The puzzles are amazing and the story is so nice. Totally recommend.

the puzzles were fairly easy, but you neeeded the hint frequently. The game lacks real substance and is over quickly. At the end, you are left wondering what happens next. however..there is a sequel ,so let me play and I will get back to you all .

Really good. More of a puzzle game than a hidden object game it had a good plot with a more mature story line which is nice since most of these casual games are teen oriented. My one complaint is that the production values were pretty sparse with only occasional music or SFX. This reduced the spooky atmosphere but didn't ruin the game. Recommended!
