Night in the Woods

I enjoyed most of the game, I think that I liked side character the most. It's absolutely beautiful and the story is really good. Just I really can't stand the protagonist and the dream sequence were soooo long. + Angus is the GOAT, wanna play games with him !!!

this game is not without it's flaws, the writing can be dated and a little cringe at times, and sure, maybe the gameplay can be a little boring, but i ADORE this game. the story this game manages to tell made me fall in love with it. the atmosphere is amazing, and i love the characters. i LOVE the characters. they are the best part of this game. and despite even the darker parts of the story, it manages to land on an ending that makes me feel happy and hopeful every time, even if it's bittersweet. i absolutely love this game and it has changed me.

night in the woods est mon jeu préféré au monde, et je pèse mes mots. parmi tous les jeux auxquels j'ai joué, celui-ci est le plus humain de tous. j'ai toujours rêvé de partir de ma petite ville. je suis partie à seize ans, j'ai détesté les études supérieures, je déteste les études supérieures. je ne me suis fait aucun ami. ma ville me manque. il y a quelques années, mon meilleur ami de l'époque m'avait dit "le problème, c'est que j'ai trop changé, et toi pas du tout". je sais aussi ce que c'est d'être la seule personne ouvertement queer d'une petite ville religieuse. tout ça, ce sont des émotions qu'on a tous ressenti, mais que night in the woods conte avec une authenticité sans pareille. on ressent la nostalgie, le sentiment de retourner à ce qu'on a toujours connu, là ou tout et rien n'a changé à la fois. les personnages sont si attachants. on les aime, on s'y retrouve, ils nous énervent, mais à la fin du jeu, tout ce qu'on leur souhaite, c'est de vivre heureux pour l'éternité. un chef d'oeuvre auquel tout le monde devrait jouer. un jeu unique, puissant et marquant, qui restera pour toujours gravé dans ma mémoire. et l'amitié entre mae et gregg est incroyable.
