9/10 Recommend this game if you are a die hard nfl fan. I would give 10/10 but WE NEED THE ABILITY TO PLAY DEFENSE!! The game is ridiculously playable GET THIS GAME!! Now to the Devs .... please add Defense play as well as a button (maybe click left thumb stick) to call timeouts. GREAT GAME!!!
This game is trash. when io throw the ball to my recevier they drop it and half the time i get intercepted with the reciver infront of the defender. when i rush the ball the entire defence is riding me. and the achivments dont work
crash

Straight TRASH. The Steam version worse than the Quest standalone version. Also, the game is buggy. Not very cash money at all. Very disappointed with this purchase. If I were in your shoes, I would NOT buy this game. I would do something much better with my time and money. That's what I would do. Don't buy this game. You owe it to yourself. Take care of yourself buddy.
I wanted to complete a full season just to be sure what was happening were not outliers, and much of the problems persisted even after looking through patch notes. You have your offensive linemen facing the sidelines and even towards you meaning there is no blocking, you have wide receiver animations janking into cornerbacks and in some case phasing through them entirely, same is reverse where your WR will ignore the ball and the ball will visibly change its path towards a cornerback, the presentation is barebones with recycling SFX and announcer callouts, the sidelines are empty, you're playing in front of .pngs, the achievements don't work, there is so much off with this game. Now this is StatusPro's second game and there is something cooking here, but what is here is pretty shallow, undercooked, and if it wasn't for the VR aspect would be below the quality of PS2 NFL games (NFL 2k5 had a first-person mode 20 years ago, just sayin') The good news is that there is some good stuff here for what it is. The wrist strap for play calling and the team dynamics with coach approval abilities and teammate buffs are good ideas and add some depth. The player customisation is serviceable but good for a second VR game and the clubhouse in-game menu is nice. The trophy room with the little collectables reminds me of the Crib in 2k5 though some in-game context for the bronze/silver/gold tiers would be nice. The ball and helmet walls are neat, could see adding some throwback stuff in the future (maybe). So the ideas that are visible in the game are good, at surface level what here is good and I can appreciate the heart shown there. But the mediocre and at times poor gameplay of just playing the QB, the jank as mentioned, and the dev support turnaround that WILL happen in the coming months are what drives it down heavily. If this wasn't going to be a yearly release and this would be one game that got updated and you could see the progress of the system and the programming with maybe a 2-5 year lifespan between games, I would see this being worth $30 at initial investment and see as more gets added and things get fixed. But it being another annual franchise and seeing how quick to disband the project is from the first NFLPE game with stuff still not fixed from that game, there's not enough here beyond novelty after how much VR has grown and expanded in the last decade. If it was 2013-2018, I'd understand this completely (from a business perspective). 2023/2024? There's early-access games with more content and other football games with more replayability for less money, some even for free. I appreciate the attempt and these have been a good first couple steps, but I see zero big enough upgrades with that dev cycle and definitely not with that project turnaround. This is something that was launched with some jank, QA was ignored, over the next few months it's given a few patches to tide things over, then supported for a few more months before dropping it entirely for Pro Era 3 and rinse-repeat. It's not bad, but this is not good, it's serviceable and if it's still chugging along in five years I'll check it out again, but it's not at the point of appreciation yet. For this, you are essentially paying for the NFL/NFLPA license and a season mode with some nice touches. If that's the selling point, this is it. If not, check out 2MDVR Football.
