This is the best game of all time. I'm literally the best Nerf Legends player in the WORLD! Well, because NOBODY is playing it. Max players peaked at 10 at release and nowadays nobody plays it, i'm literally the only player in the world and that if soo frigging cool YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY
I bought this when I saw it was going to be delisted off steam at the end of the year. I saw the reviews said it was pretty bad, but I was willing to give it a shot. BIG MISTAKE!!!! Where do I even begin with this game? The gameplay feels awful. Sure, the slide and double jump is fine, but the guns are truly abysmal to use. I get that they are Nerf guns, but like... in this fictitious setting where they can destroy robots, why do they feel so weak? Piss-poor sound effects, and guns feel horribly imbalanced. A shotgun that fires all three shots at the same time requires four+ reloads to kill the most basic fodder. But a rifle can kill that same enemy in three shots. What were they thinking I wasn't even planning on playing the multiplayer (since this game is about to be delisted and will therefore not have online servers) but its dead anyways. Don't even bother buying it for that reason, you'll never find someone to play with. (I'm not sure why you would want to with this awful gameplay. I got a headache half-way through playing this, and I kept going until the pain was too much. You won't be missing out on much by not picking this up before it goes under.

No
This game is just terrible. Everything about it is low effort. I got it for $5 and I think that was too much. Nice to have since it will be de-listed, but other than that not worth it. Edit: I have now beaten the game. It is still so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bad.
the multiplayer does not work at all! waste of money. bought this to play with my son but even if we create a session no sessions appear still. lied about multiplayer & lied about being cross platform. this game is a scam. I did not expect this from Nerf & Hasbro
This game has been delisted, but it was also a broken game with an insane pricetag. ____________ Follow my Curator
Waiting for Nerf Legends 2025
As a big fan of the original Arena Blast I have been wanting to give this game a try for nostalgic value, even after all the negative reviews. I really tried to like it and I thought waiting for a big discount would help its cause. I already had quite low expectations, and at the start I thought "well it's not that terrible". But then only after going through the second mission then its defects really become apparent all at once. It's like they didn't really test beyond the training section. It gets tiring and boring incredibly fast. It has an awful UI indeed, it's like they consciously tried to make a counterintuitive interface: the oddest choices of key combinations, menu structures and locations. The graphics settings are a joke although it doesn't matter nowadays. The weapons are indeed uninspiring and get old fast. They all feel the same. Gameplay is also quite lacking. You get the feeling that there were going to be 2 or 3 more game modes but they ran out of time/budget and only published one of them. Maps... they are almost a redeeming feature. I mean they are probably the biggest selling point as it's what you first see in the promotional videos. The designs are eye-catching but all is lost due to how the game is designed (limited game modes as mentioned). While visually appealing, they are not immersive, they forgot to invest in sound apparently. It does not feel like an open world, you feel forced to follow a boring and narrow narrative/path and I immediately experienced the bugs everyone talks about, they completely break the game. The only escape to the boring single player mode would have been to join a multiplayer game but... yeah you already know it, it was dead from the very beginning. As for nostalgia there are some hints/elements of the classic, but it feels like they are just some very background references while this game should have been a spiritual successor at least. They completely missed the target audience perhaps by trying to appeal to a more universal one.
