[h2][i]World's Hardest Game[/i], But Significantly Worse[/h2] [i]Neon Hardcore[/i] is a fast-paced, 2D game where you play as a square, navigating through levels whilst avoiding obstacles like saws, lasers and more. The game is comprised of 15 levels, introducing more obstacles to dodge as you go along. The main problems with this game are the controls and level design. When you move in a specific direction, you keep going until something stops it, like [i]Newton's First Law[/i], or if you press space, or a different direction key. This can be extremely annoying to control, especially when you have to be as precise as possible, and being a few pixels off could lead to your imminent death. With those annoying controls in mind, the level design is there to give you a rough time, especially with the obstacles that move like the spinning laser contraptions or saws. It's very unforgiving when you get stuck on a wall half the time. I was able to complete most levels but for the rest, I just used the "p" key which auto completes the level. I did this for the ones that felt too unfair to navigate. Also, this game heavily relies on achievement spam for each level you beat, so just be aware that your Steam may slow down significantly after beating a level. The game may be dirt cheap on sale, but I don't see how it could grant any semblance of enjoyment to anyone, you should definitely avoid it, unless you are an achievement hunter, then the "p" key is your best friend.

I guess it's great if you're after a ton of achievements; the game itself is decent too. I haven't encountered the control issues that some have complained about—sure, they can be a bit annoying at times, but they never make the game unplayable by any stretch of the imagination.
