[H1]Cute UI, ruthless difficulty curve.[/H1] Thank you to Gushio for the curator copy. This is nonetheless an impartial review. First thought: where are my [url=https://store.steampowered.com/app/1369340/Cats_Organized_Neatly/?curator_clanid=45639970]Cats Organized Neatly[/url] fans? Because this feels like the perfect little twin sibling... except this one brought a stopwatch and a brutal competitive spirit. You start with three trays, each holding a cat shape. Move them between trays, empty one, and it reappears with a brand new cat form. Fill up 30 to 35 trays with cats to clear a difficulty. The rules are simple, right? But the timer between tray completions quietly tightens the screws as you level up during the run. There are lifesavers though: last chance moves that stack up if you lose previous runs and “the tail,” which can transform a shape into a single cube cat. Tiny miracle worker that can save you last minute! The UI is ADORABLE. No, really, I love it. The menu cats even wake up when you click them. There are three modes with increasing difficulty, more shapes appearing and trays growing larger the higher you go. You can hide the timer by clicking it, though it keeps ticking secretly with no way to completely opt out of it. Leaderboards are available for the competitive crowd, and achievements are surprisingly well thought out, which gives achievement hunters plenty of reasons to return. Settings are also generous: sound sliders, fullscreen, and even an option to hide your Steam name if you stream, though it only hides it on your own screen, not on the leaderboard. The tutorial is quick, optional, and right there in the menu. Also worth mentioning: the dev is super responsive and lovely to interact with. A few wishes remain though. There’s no way to fully disable the timer, and I think a fourth infinite cozy mode without time pressure could open the door to a much bigger relaxed crowd. The congratulations message after completing normal mode is only in Japanese, which caught me off guard (can't say for Hard mode). Runs can feel repetitive once the novelty of new shapes and tray holes fades, so this clearly targets a specific puzzle loving audience. Achievements can also become grindy, especially since most aren’t available in easy mode, which is the only difficulty I managed without multiple attempts. Difficulty climbs fast, which I personally enjoyed, but it might scare off players hoping for a pure cozy session. Still, there’s something oddly satisfying about managing the trays under pressure, watching the shapes line up, and pushing one more run to improve your score. Just know that this is less “relax with cats” and more “cats with a competitive timer breathing down your neck”.
