Wanted to try Negligee because i have heard it was quite HOT, and i am a naughty boy. Luckily i realised that there was this game to test the universe first, in a lighter version. Well, at least i discovered that i am definitly not into this type of game, it is static, very few background and animations, too much dialogs to read, i was bored after 5 minutes, i then put on automatic at maximum speed and used a guide to test all ending.. It is not even hot and was not making my "joystick" hard, maybe i am just too old for this..
Short and sweet. About an hour to see all endings, including all three variants of the "best" ending. For 1.99 USD, not bad at all. I find Dharker's offerings MUCH better than the Winged Cloud Sakura series of cookie cutter VNs.
Like that most of Dharker Studio games take place in the same town. Has some nice CG About 20 mins for first play through Would wait for a sale. If I could give a neutral review I would (Received in a bundle)

Negligee: Girls Night is a compact, character-focused visual novel that distills Dharker Studios’ familiar formula into a short, self-contained experience built around conversation, choice, and intimate storytelling. Rather than constructing a sprawling narrative with multiple arcs, the game narrows its scope to a single evening shared between two characters, using that limited timeframe to explore their chemistry and the subtle shifts in their relationship. This restrained approach defines both its strengths and its limitations, resulting in a title that feels deliberately small but cohesive in what it aims to deliver. The gameplay follows a traditional visual novel structure, with players progressing through dialogue and making occasional decisions that influence how scenes unfold. These choices shape the tone of interactions and determine which variations of events the player experiences, leading to multiple endings. The branching is not particularly complex, but it is effective within the game’s short runtime, encouraging players to replay the story and explore alternative outcomes. Because each playthrough is relatively brief, experimenting with different decisions never feels like a chore, and the game benefits from this accessible loop. The narrative places a strong emphasis on interpersonal dynamics rather than external conflict. Most of the experience is driven by dialogue, with the story unfolding through casual conversations that gradually reveal more about the characters and their connection. The tone is generally relaxed and conversational, reflecting the informal setting of a night out. While the writing does not aim for deep or intricate storytelling, it succeeds in creating a sense of immediacy, allowing players to focus on the interaction itself rather than on a larger plot. Characterization is central to the game’s appeal. With a small cast and a tightly focused scenario, the experience depends heavily on how engaging the characters are. Each character is given a distinct personality, and their interactions carry the narrative forward. While their development is limited by the game’s brevity, there is enough variation in dialogue and outcomes to make different playthroughs feel worthwhile. The game’s strength lies in these small shifts in tone and response, which subtly alter the direction of the story. Visually, Negligee: Girls Night maintains the clean, anime-inspired style associated with Dharker Studios’ catalog. Character art is polished and expressive, serving as the primary visual highlight. Backgrounds are simple and functional, providing context without drawing attention away from the characters. The overall presentation is straightforward, focusing on clarity and accessibility rather than elaborate design. This simplicity works well within the game’s scope, ensuring that the experience remains easy to follow and visually consistent. The audio design is minimal, with background music that supports the mood without becoming a focal point. There is no extensive use of voice acting, so the narrative relies entirely on text and visual expression to convey emotion. While this approach is typical for smaller visual novels, it does mean that the experience lacks some of the immersion found in more fully produced titles. Still, the understated audio complements the game’s relaxed pacing. A defining aspect of the game is its inclusion of adult content, which appears in certain routes and is integrated into the progression of the story. This element is consistent with the broader Negligee series and forms part of its identity. However, the transition between lighthearted conversation and more explicit scenes can feel abrupt at times, creating a tonal contrast that may not resonate equally with all players. For those familiar with the developer’s work, this blend is expected, but it remains a point of division in how the narrative is perceived. Pacing is one of the game’s more effective qualities. Its short runtime ensures that the experience remains focused, with no unnecessary padding or prolonged sections. Each playthrough delivers a complete arc, making it easy to revisit and explore alternative choices. At the same time, this brevity also limits the depth of the experience. Once all routes have been explored, there is little additional content to discover, and the game does not offer systems or variations that significantly extend its lifespan. Replayability exists primarily through the branching choices, but the overall structure remains consistent across playthroughs. The variations are enough to justify multiple runs, but they do not dramatically change the core experience. As a result, the game is best approached as a short, self-contained narrative rather than something designed for long-term engagement. Ultimately, Negligee: Girls Night succeeds in delivering a focused and accessible visual novel that stays true to its intended scope. It does not attempt to innovate or expand beyond its core concept, instead offering a straightforward experience built around character interaction and choice-driven storytelling. Its strengths lie in its simplicity, pacing, and visual presentation, while its limitations stem from its short length and lack of depth. For players who enjoy brief, character-driven visual novels and are familiar with the style of Dharker Studios, it provides a pleasant and easy-to-complete experience. For those seeking more complex narratives or extensive gameplay systems, it may feel too limited to leave a strong impression. It is a game that knows exactly what it is and delivers accordingly, offering a concise and consistent experience within its niche. Rating: 6/10
