The sheer beauty of this game will be lost on many. The idea of a bear, who is a nature guy, fighting against robots, who are not nature guys is truly awe inspiring and says a lot about our society. Tbh this must have taken a lot of effort tho so good job :)
I mean for it being free there isn't much to expect. Slasher game with some decent graphics, which are cool although there are no settings. The hero bear is cool although he moves like molasses and you have to constantly stay holding shift to run. Combat animations are nice but there isn't much else. There are 3 elements the bear uses, but there are no directions on what does what. Common sense tells you that water probably freezes, Fire probably burns so, make sure to read the skill tree for what's what. The mobs are different colors so of course an ice robot probably gets wrecked by fire and so on but you really have to figure out the gist on your own. 2 mobs always come to fight you unless its the boss then there could be boss +2. This game could be cool if they'd add some story line and direction, I don't even think there is a map, just marker to where you are supposed to go. Install if you're really bored, it says it was created by 3 college kids so, not bad, but if you're looking a finely shined up game...this ain't it.

Yeah, this game isn't great. Lack of explanation, no settings, obviously free assets, floating grass, water you fall through, bugs, the list goes on and on. The combat system feels like it was created in an hour, and with the lack of a stamina system, you're able to bunny-hop and avoid enemies completely. It seems to take inspiration from the Nioh series, but completely fails to explain how the different elements work, or even how to switch elements themselves. Neeron might be free, but I still want a refund regardless.
Not really worth playing, even tho it's free, but can't hate on (what is clearly) an over encumbered student project. Keep making stuff y'all. It's hard to make stuff.

Whacked out camera controls can't figure out what direction I am facing. no options you can tweak. good thing it was free, Stream should be vetting crap like this. Added: Recently tweaked my settings and it is still whacked with the controls, found land that you fall through, also ended up in a body of water that I could not get out of, and you don't drowned. Very very very badly made game. Uninstalling because the game is more annoying then fun
"Neeron: The Blade of Nature" is a fairly basic collection of assets arranged into a third person brawler, one of many hundreds, if not thousands of these glutting Steam. The "developer" got their hands on a few 3D asset store packs and models, arranged them haphazardly in a first person adventure game template, and submitted it to Valve as if they're real game developers. An example of some of the stolen assets can be found in the "Animals Warrior Pack" created by real developer, Bugrimov Maksim. But the developer of this game wants you to think Bugrimov Maksim's work is really his own... plagiarism is unethical. It's not hard to create a credits page. The developer here deliberately and unethically chose not to. The only thing that prevents this from being classified as an asset flip is the developer isn't trying to cash in on the uncredited use of other people's assets by arranging them with as little effort as possible into a minimum viable product. However, the quality here is indistinguishable from an asset flip, and that's what this is all about... whether this game represents any real value for gamers. It doesn't. Taking this shovelware seriously as if it was a genuine attempt to make a game, it doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. There's no way to ensure this is running at the native resolution of your display. There's no guarantee this game will look right on any PC as a result of this hamfisted design decision. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers, left handed gamers or gamers using AZERTY or other international keyboard layouts. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 4 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 120 million gamers on Steam and well over 100,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected. This kind of asset flipping isn't harmless. It makes it harder for gamers to find genuinely made games from ethical developers. It makes it harder for genuine indie developers, who put hard work into trying to make real games, to find an audience for their products. It gives indie developers a bad name. So, should you download this asset flip? Is this better than any of the 100,000+ genuinely made games on Steam? Of course not! The game is free, which means this isn't some kind of cash grab or a scam, but the quality is so deplorably low this is just polluting the Steam store, which in itself is harmful. This pollution is taking up visiblity and marketing space from games that were developed by sincere developrs who did the right thing, and it makes it harder for those games to find an audience. It makes it harder for gamers to find genuine games, too. It's impossible to recommend this to gamers, and we can only hope Valve will implement some quality control at some point, instead of relying on reviews like mine to warn gamers away from pollution like this.
No ability to change graphics settings in game.
