Had a great experience
Had a great time playing this one, and the story is interesting. A cat has to get revenge, because he was named a bad word. Recommend!
Its funny, fun and cheap price. Its an example of a good RPG Maker game. There is content and rewards to explore aside for funny quotes and conversations. Battles are balanced so that you cannot advance without having trained in the zone. Very recommended
kinda fun, the humor is not my thing, boss fights are a decent challenge and the combat is equipment and ability focused so there is little need to grind but you can if you are having trouble. A little overpriced but the dev has a history of listening to suggestions and criticism to improve the game.
I spent some time with the game and it left a very unique impression overall. The visual style is bold and unusual — definitely something you don’t see every day. The humor is strange, risky, and very specific, but it actually worked for me and gave the game a strong personality. The world itself feels interesting and intentionally unconventional. At times, I personally found navigation and progression a bit confusing, especially early on, as I was still learning how the locations connect and how the game expects the player to move forward. This is likely something that becomes clearer with more time spent in the game. Combat has some fun ideas behind it, and the variety of abilities and effects is promising. During my playtime, some encounters felt very easy while others felt much more punishing, which made the difficulty curve feel a bit uneven to me at first. Understanding certain mechanics and status effects took some trial and error, but this may also improve naturally as players become more familiar with the systems. Overall, this is a weird, stylish, and experimental game with a lot of personality. It’s clearly doing its own thing, and while it may not click instantly for everyone, it’s memorable and stands out from more conventional RPGs. I’m genuinely curious to see how it continues to evolve with future updates.
Short version - 8/10 game, 9/10 considering the price. +Funny and edgy premise that hugs the line of being offensive but never crosses it in a way that turned me off. +Good JRPG style gameplay with solid execution. The attack names are funny. +The cutscenes are very silly and the newest update that added those made a lot of improvements to the game. +100% worth the 4 bucks. +Cat protagonist. +Cat with a gun. -I wanted more quests. -I wanted more Lovecraft monsters. -It would have been neat to have a quest for each of the party members to flesh them out or have them say random funny things during fights. My main complaints seem to be that there wasn't more stuff in the game, which is a complaint but also a compliment. It's not super replayable (Except for the new update, if you already played through it before the boss cut scenes were put in, you definitely want to play it again!) but a game like this is like a dessert instead of a meal. It doesn't overstay it's welcome and it's a lot of fun.
Pretty fun, the humor is what you expect for dark humor. It also works really great on the steam deck. Best part, you get to play as a badass cat and not some human or humanoid type of character like most rpg games. Price-wise it's well worth it, would recommend giving this game a try. :)
Working great so far on my Steam deck.
had a good time playing this game. the story and humor worked for me and kept me going. i am usually not into rpg or turn based games but this was easy to get into. making a team trying new gear and moving through the world felt nice and simple. i picked it up on sale for a cheap price and it was worth it. the humor is the main highlight and kept the game engaging for me
This game has a reasonable price, great RPG mechanics and story makes sense. The artwork could be improved but that may be a personal preference. The environment design was intriguing and the voice acting was okay. Wanted to post a video on the game but unfortunately the profanity in it does not suit my audience. Otherwise, for a small team or solo dev this is a great addition to a hopefully expanding portfolio. Great work Mr. Dapperton!
