Basic but bretty blayable

Fun game! Solid mechanics and controls, feels like I'm playing a lost Sega Master System classic!

I knew this game would have kickass awesome music because Drozerix made it! If you liked Super Hexagon or Celeste because of their music, you MUST BUY THIS GAME! And support Drozerix on Bandcamp! Ah, by the way, the game's mechanics are totally fine, I enjoyed playing it to the end. There are versatile mechanics and stuff, good platformer. Many bosses and stuff. I do admit I beat normal mode in 3 hours, but that's reasonable for 0.79 EUR, don't you think? ----- Can I buy the OST on Bandcamp? ----- UPDATE: YES you can now buy the OST on Bandcamp: https://drozerix.bandcamp.com/album/necrolance-ost I'm listening to Humid Cavern <3 but definitely check out the Overworld theme, I think that's what really sells.

Necrolance is a fun little chill game! It's very reminiscent of retro games from the Gameboy era and there's absolutely nothing wrong that! The controls are extremely tight, the levels are fair, expansive, and have a bit of exploration. Multiple items to find, weapons to use, and another character to master! Fun Game, Challenging and good gameplay, beat the game today on normal mode... boy it was hard but a great game to keep trying and work at beating it :)

O jogo é bom para quem gosta de jogos retrô vale mais que seu preço a pesar de ser curto, a plot é genérica, a musica é ok mas o foco é na gameplay que é bem no estilo retro andar e bater nos inimigos até encontrar um boss é bem interessante jogar com os vilões principalmente com o próprio necromante, para quem já é acostumado com plataformers antigos o jogo é bem fácil então recomendo colocar no difícil. Se você vai jogar aqui vão algumas dicas: preste atenção o jogo tem vários caminhos secretos, tome cuidado com inimigos enquanto pula, sua arma é sua maior inimiga o boost da lança vai te matar muito e a maioria dos bosses não são difíceis só são demorados. Enfim recomendo para quem curti a nostalgia de jogos retrô e é isso bom jogo.

Necrolance is a fantasy themed 2D retro pixel platformer, one of thousands polluting Steam. This one has you running around with a stick that you can charge through blocks with, and there's boss fights and stuff. They chose to use obsolete retro pixel "art" as a substitute for contemporary PC graphics. It's unclear if this is due to lack of budget or talent, regardless, the overall visual quality of the game is extremely low as a result. Resolution is locked and can't be changed. While this is far from the worst 2D retro pixel platformer I've suffered through, as a genuine attempt to make a game seems to have taken place, it's still very low quality and too hard to recommend.
