Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.11/day in the week to Aug 4 → 0/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

You're Illy Vraja, a teenager at a crossroads in her life who gets invited to Transylvania by her mysterious Great-Aunt, Domnica, only to find out she comes from a long line of witches, and is entitled to enroll in the Transylvanian Institute for Magick!
As a Near-Mage, you are entering a summer preparatory school, hoping to graduate into a full-fledged spell caster. You’ll take classes in different types of Magick and see how you can use your growing powers to affect the lives of those you come across.

We are from Transylvania, Romania ourselves, so we’re doing a deep dive into its rich lore, legends and superstitions, heavily drawing on them in creating Near-Mage’s dark and colorful world.
Travel freely between three main hubs: the real-life town of Sighișoara, the mythical town of Rakus, that lies beyond a Magickal veil and cannot be seen by most, and the Transylvanian Institute for Magick.
Near-Mage will allow for a lot of freedom when approaching the situations you’ll encounter within the Transylvanian Institute for Magick and its surroundings. When it comes to spell-crafting, you can choose what type of classes you’re taking on a whim, or you can look up recipes in a spellbook and strategize your build.

This build variety will in turn lead to different outcomes for some quest lines, affect certain NPCs’ fates, and result in high replayability. Maybe you’ve erased an NPC’s memory on your first play-through. What if you used a different spell on them this time around… or no spell at all?
You’ll be able to play Near-Mage as a point and click, or you can control the character directly. Walk to your objectives, run at full speed, or even fly there!

Poor Tudor.
7/10 Way too much running around doing fetch quests. Artstyle was fantastic. Also MC was stupid quite a few times just leaving important things behind, and not putting 2 and 2 together a couple of times.
I'm sad that the obviously bad guy, was in fact the bad guy.
I was allready in love of with their first game <3 If you like the visual novel genre, you'll be amazed by the world they've create. I recommend playing the first game to fully understand the end. Meow ! =^.^=

OK game, very nicely drawn, has some funny moments (but not all). Occasionally the characters seem rushed in and out of the story without getting to know a bit more about them. Other times some don't appear for a long time only to resurface later. I feel the magic use idea was cool but was under used and it could have been put to use more creatively. The main issue I have is with the story progressing towards the finale without giving you a real option to "fail". Sure, you can get better or worse outcomes (or just different), but overall it felt extremely simple and somehow "linear". I get the choices I made influence the story, but I did not feel I had much agency into that. Felt more like a gamble, if you happened to do X two hours ago, Y will happen now. But then I could not "plan" the outcome. Example: you have the option to save a bit of some material for later with no effect on your current quest => you choose to, great, some time later something positive happens. But if one chooses not to keep, something negative happens. Now when I kept some of the material I really did not do it thinking I would obtain anything remotely similarly to the effects I obtained, so in the end it was a gamble... Overall can be a fun couple of hours if you don't expect complex puzzles or to feel like you have a lot of choices.
I enjoy story driven, casual games with some adventure. This is a beautiful game, the graphics are gorgeous. The fantasy element is a favorite as well. The characters have personality and the choices you make are your own and shape the story. I love that you unlock fast travel pretty quickly because there are three separate maps. If you like witch schools, fantasy, and mystery- this point and click, story rich game is for you. I personally love it and I'm not close to being done but, I have a feeling I will be replaying and making some new choices.
Game was fun, good story that kept me engaged. I would have liked to see a less linear story with more meaningful story paths and branches to choose from. Also the spell system was a bit of a let down, you are granted access to so many great spells but very, very limited chances to use them. I would have much more preferred the ability to use various spells on npcs and just random folks or out in the world anytime I liked with appropriate consequences. As it stands I didn't even use 15 percent of my spells in a full playthrough. The classes and spell crafting was very cool though.
