EDIT - The Developers Censored cards like 'Grease Monkey' because the original card art showed a woman wearing tight pants. I am going to guess that the developers are Left Wing, and would be okay with Drag Queens performing in a primary school... but a woman, wearing tight pants, in a game that adults play is a no-no for them 😂 ORIGINAL REVIEW... I have not played this as much as I do Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel and Duel Links.... Though, I do really appreciate how they have Card Art which features attractive women... something other modern game companies shy away from. + Daily Log in's for gems + AI Mode + Story mode

Best card game mechanics out right now. Feels more balanced than most popular CCGs. However, there isn't many players online most of the time sadly. There also hasn't been a new expansion in a long time. I highly recommend it still.

One of the best card games that has had development dropped. For now, the servers are still going and players organize events. Try it even if it's just for the story arc, the art is gorgeous.
Mythgard feels like a smart card game that deserved more oxygen. Recommended if you like tactical CCGs with strong card design, clean core gameplay, and systems that try to solve problems instead of copying the usual formula. Not recommended if you need a heavily supported live-service game, a large active scene, or a card game that stays simple once the board gets busy. What it is: A fantasy-cyberpunk digital card game built around lane combat, card cycling for resources, and board spaces that can become meaningful over time. What it nails: The cards are designed well, and the basic gameplay is straightforward in a good way. Mythgard’s best idea is that it makes the board matter. You are not just playing stats onto a table. You are fighting over lanes, positioning, resources, and long-term board texture. The resource system is also strong. Having to cycle cards for mana gives you more control than pure card draw luck, while still forcing real decisions about what you can afford to give up now for a better turn later. Where it slips: The game can get confusing, but not because it feels careless. It gets confusing because several good ideas are all happening at once. Lanes matter. Enchantments matter. Positioning matters. Faction resources matter. Card text matters. That gives the game depth, but it also means the board can become harder to read than it first appears. The setting is bold too, though sometimes it is a little too on the nose. Mythgard has a real identity, but there are moments where the myth-meets-modern-world concept feels blunt instead of elegant. Final call: I recommend Mythgard, especially because it is free, but with a warning: this is a clever, well-designed CCG that feels like it needed more long-term support to fully become what it wanted to be. It is worth playing for the ideas alone.
Droprate is false. Mythics droprate is said to be 10% but in reality is much much lower. F*ck tis game.
Some great ideas, some good ideas, some very very bad ideas. I like that it is different than most of the slop but it has two major problems. And two really great things. BAD 1.) Difficult to learn due to statistically impossible card draws that favor the AI. It is clear that rather than balance the game or create AI that is capable of playing fairly, the developers just made the AI cheat. When learning a new game and experimenting, this is a major setback. As a result, you must experiment in PvP to get any useful feedback. This is a slow and frustrating process. 2.) Some of the cards are extremely unbalanced. I don't mean the MTG style rare card that's super powerful. No, some of them are common and plentiful. I mean spells that can easily be spammed to wipe out entire armies over and over and over and over and over again. Or terrain cards that make unites take double damage permanently. This extreme level of imbalance significantly limits available strategies. And I am not overstating just how imbalanced these cards are. GOOD 1.) I appreciate that the card pack prices are reasonable. The flair items less so, but I don't care about that. And I appreciate that all the cards can be acquired for free. If you want a free TCG, or just one that won't require a mortgage, this is a great choice. 2.) They tried something different. Most of the card games available are either MTG clones or just slop. This game is neither. It is genuinely interesting and different. If it weren't so imbalanced, I would probably keep playing it. FINAL The imbalance and AI upend the experience for me. If I had more time and no money, maybe. Some people will love it even though the effective strategies are so limited by the poor game balance. And that's fine. It's just not for me.
One of the best card games I've ever seen, interesting mechanics (enchantments, artifacts, and card abilities), unique and beautiful artstyle, with a great lore and story behind it and the card factions. Unfortunately is stagnant due to player absence and no updates, but I've played it on and off for years both on steam and on browser. Every once and a while I dream about what would this game could have been with regular updates.
I signed up to this game to play 2v2 and I was disappointed to find that it had been removed so I am uninstalling.
why isnt this game getting constantly new updates, it's a solid game, what a pitty it kinda got abandoned :/
