Abandonware, not even a single news update in over a year. Too bad, could have been decent.

Absolutely excellent CCG. It's not just a mechanically well made game, but it has a mood. Real shame that it's on maintenance mode, and won't get future updates. That said, what's here is enough to be worth getting into. While I'm not overly bothered by the small playerbase thanks to the solid PvE, what does worry me is that the game has no end of life plan, which means it can get shut down at any point. That makes it hard to justify spending money on the game, even though I'd like to support it. Here's hoping Mythgard remains playable for years to come. edit: Turns out they quietly censored a bunch of cards' art and flavor text post-release. That probably would have killed my faith in the game if it was still being developed. Threads discussing this on the steam forum all get locked.

One of the best card games that has had development dropped. For now, the servers are still going and players organize events. Try it even if it's just for the story arc, the art is gorgeous.

most underrated card game. it solves so many frustrations and problems, but unlucky hearthstone Wow nostalgia is stronger than good mechanics and engine. devs did good job with this piece
This game is a great entry into the CCG realm. Dev has stopped apparently, but it's got enough cards to be hella fun indefinitely. Good features include an interesting mana system, a bit of troop placement, 2v2 mode and a clever draft system.
Note: Dead PvP game This game contains no meaningful single player content. There's no viably populated servers and only a tiny active player population. This game cannot be played as intended.

Warning: Microtransaction infested mobile app! This game is infested with a toxic mobile app style cash shop. You will be prompted to and expected to give money to the developers through this cash shop to buy in-game goods so you can play the game.
It's Hearthstone from Temu. For iPhones. Again. "Mythgard" is one of thousands of nasty mobile apps infesting the "free" section of Steam, but it's not really free. This is a once (inexplicably) almost popular ripoff of Hearthstone made for mobile phones. Gameplay is, like Hearthstone, all about collecting cards representing monsters and spells, making them fight each other by placing them on the table. The winner in each match (if you can find any other players) is determined by who spent the most money in the toxic mobile app cash shop that infests this garbage. There's only a superficial game here. The game visuals and the game itself are incredibly shallow... think of them as the too-bright, colourful, thin plastic cabinet dress theme on a poker machine at the casino. That's basically what this is. So really, the mobile app "game" is just a veneer, a thin skin wrapped around a nasty, predatory mobile app cash shop. Putting that toxic mobile app monetisation aside... this is a mobile app. I didn't spend thousands on a gaming PC so I could pretend it's an iPhone, and I don't think you did either... this kind of mobile app has no place in your Steam library. As with all mobile scams, you're forced to sign a highly questionable yet legally unenforceable End User License Agreement... for such a relatively low effort, low quality mobile app, this is specifically designed to invalidate your consumer rights and destroy your right to privacy. This agreement includes questionable requirements that may attempt to revoke consumer law protections that gamers expect to have, which is also highly problematic. Developers must learn they are here to serve gamers, not control them. I had my cat walk over the keyboard while the EULA was displaying, which fixed that problem for me. This game is fairly dated at 6 years old... and even back then it looked old and busted compared to contemporary, professionally made 3D games of the same period. It looked bad then, it looks worse now. It's also not being updated anymore, it's abandonware. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. All other issues aside (any of which would disqualify this from being worth your time), this is a game that relies on other players for it to be viable, and because there's not enough players, it's not viable. I can't recommend anyone downloads this, it's basically dead.
I really liked the idea about how mythology would work in modern world. It's a shame that it didn't work out. Even bigger shame that current owners of the game are some of the biggest puritans I've ever seen. And while I could understand censoring Grease monkey, or Brass bouncer then giving Black Hatter a sock is just hilarious xD
