Warning: AI Slop This game is partially or completely made with talentless, soulless AI generated content.

Warning: Microtransaction infested mobile app! This game is infested with a toxic mobile app style cash shop. You will be prompted to and expected to give money to the developers through this cash shop to buy in-game goods so you can play the game.
Myth Matrix is one of thousands of nasty mobile apps infesting the "free" section of Steam, but it's not really free. There's only a superficial "game" here. This is an abandoned Early Access mobile app scam... sure, it looks like a CCG but you don't get cards unless you wait forbiddingly long waits, or, you know, pay cash money. So anyone who gives money to the developer will have better cards and will win. Disgusting, isn't it? It gets worse, of course, because there's AI Slop, too. Ugh. So really, the mobile app "game" is just a veneer, a thin skin wrapped around a nasty, predatory mobile app cash shop. Thus, the true purpose of this mobile app is to get you to hand your credit card details to the greedy mobile devs so you can buy stuff in the nasty cash shop... it shouldn't be considered a real game because it's a mobile app cash harvester, and has no place in your game library. Putting that toxic mobile app monetisation aside... this is a mobile app. I didn't spend thousands on a gaming PC so I could pretend it's an iPhone, and I don't think you did either... this kind of mobile app has no place in your Steam library. The developers abandoned this 1 year ago. It will never be completed. This unfinished game is just polluting Steam and making it harder for gamers to find genuinely, completely made games. Despite not being able to finish the game, the developers apparently had all the time in the world to build that fully functional cash shop, and financial transaction back-end system into the game. That shows the developers primary goal was just to set out to gouge cash from Steam gamers just like mobile devs do with mobile peasants. Despite having no up-front cost, this failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 4 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off.

BURP A fine little heartstone clone, the tiles remind me of Echo of Combats and Mighty Heroes years ago BURP Nothing new, BURP small things keep the gameplay a bit fresh and enjoyable. However, there're still BURP couple things that could, and maybe should be improved :
Lack of drawing options
A common flaw in early card games. Draw options are rare BURP often cost mana, so I almost never got to play good combos. As a result, getting rid BURP any card that can't work on its own and filling 1/3 to 1/2 of my decks with my most mana-expensive creatures really paid off. Creatures that deal damage when summoned are very good, as usual. They BURP basically cancel what the enemy plays, while filling your field.
Limited strategy
The tutorial does a great job at showing BURP combos, but the truth is, these are all you can do in the whole game. Hero-exclusive factions BURP rely on very specific cards, which, paired with the lack of drawing options, result into filling BURP hand with useless cards more often than this would pay off.
Turn 1 advantage
Playing 2nd gives you a mana bottle and an additional card, BURP I think is too good. You gain mana after the opponent, but this only matters around round 5/6/7/8 to summon big creatures asap (you mostly get more mana than BURP need past this point). If you start first, you might not even be able to profit of your advantage due to RNG. Meanwhile, the mana bottle has guaranteed value, BURP you also get 4 cards instead of 3 at first, which is again very good due to scarce drawing options. I'd say BURP would be balanced without the bonus card.
Ways to earn stuff
Currently, the main income source is one-time starter quests. Once BURP cleared all of them, the only way to earn anything is to drop crates from matches, which BURP have a chance to loot when you win, with apparently an "increased chance to loot a rarer chest against BURP players". You then have to unlock BURP chests, just press the button and wait for some time (min. 30 minutes, max. 24 hours), or pay with premium currency, then BURP get the reward. Classic trick to slow down progression and pressure towards purchase. After 4 hours, playing against AI only (never met anyone), I only BURP 2 chests. One of which took 30 minutes and gave me like 6 coins and 8 card fragments, which BURP ridiculously low. It's not that bad tho, BURP I already have a near-perfect deck. You start with plenty of non-neutral cards that will only ever be useful in 1-in-a-million combos, so you can just salvage them, then craft the most mana-expensive (5/6/7/8 mana) common neutral creatures which have proven themselves BURP more useful to me than anything else until now. You can also salvage the cheap neutral BURP like the 1/1 creature that costs 0, the 2/1 that costs 1 and the 1/2 guard that costs 1.
Encouraging to play against AI
I never met a real player, although BURP game seems to auto-match against AI after long queueing. You can play AI instead of waiting for someone, and still rankup from it. BURP nice touch, but then everyone is encouraged to do it, plus AI is really dumb so free elo, so even if there'BURP people online, you're unlikely to fight them anyways. Has potential, but currently BURP underwhelming due to RNG factor, few available cards, rare drawing options encouraging to rely BURP single cards rather than combos, and very few strategies. Still had a bit of fun on it.
Locked up during tutorial. Seems like a mobile P2W game. Uninstalled within a few minutes.
The game was made by one person. It’s not perfect, of course, but it has been available on mobile phones for some time and has received a lot of updates with new content, new UI, bug fixes, etc. This game has been and will continue to be regularly updated, unlike some AAA games so even if now something is off it will be better in the next updates. The developer really cares about their “child”. Give it a shot
