В общем, Mystery Phantoms: Ghostly Secrets Collector's Edition – это типичная игра от Do Games Limited. As i´m saying again and again in my Reviews, Hiden Object Games have a Special Place in my Heart. I remember many Years ago when i found one by Accident how the Passion started. I love how there were Games based on Books like Robinson Crusoe or inspired by Movies like the Pirates of the Carribean Series. I was Always looking for good Storys. Like this One. Welcome to MYSTERY PHANTOMS: GHOSTLY SECRETS COLLECTORS EDITION! This Review is very similar a few others of my Reviews, most is identical. MYSTERY PHANTOMS: GHOSTLY SECRETS COLLECTORS EDITION (MP:GSCE) is a very nice Hidden Object Game about solving Ghost Mysteries. And it is YOUR Job! So, let´s go. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3739784671 MP:GSCE has very nice and detailed Graphics and a very good Sound. You have to deal with different Hidden Object Scenes and also with Mini Games. Both from Easy to challenging but never unfair. You can also collect Tarot Cards hidden all over the Game. What i like is, that the Game has 4 Chapters with different Locations and cases. So you are not beeing at the same place in the whole Game like in many other Hidden Object Games. Makes it also more exciting. The Game reminds me of some good old Artifex Mundi Games. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3739785368 IMPORTANT! There is Bonus Content in a DLC. After the purchase, the content goes directly into the game. It adds 4 Bonus Rooms, each Chapter one, more Puzzles, more Hidding Object Scenes. I didn´t regret buying it, 3,99 is okay, there are more Dlc´s out with higer Prices and lesser Content. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3739785919 Overall i like the Game because of the Atmosphere. The first Chapter for example was amazing. A typical old Ghosthouse and the Ghost and her Story was short but nice. In the second Chapter we are visiting a typical Motel, felt a Little bit like the Movie PSYCHO. There are alsp many very nice animations your trigger, when you click on special Points. The only Thing i found negativ are the Achievements. You get them in the Game but they didn´t open on Steam. I opened a Thread and i was not the only one with this Problem. So, Achievement Hunters should wait until this issue is fixed. A big thanks to the Developer for taking me on this nice Journey. You made a good Game here with a nice Atmosphere. And thank YOU for reading.
You like this Review? You want more? Visit and follow our AWG Curator! You`re always welcome. These games always arrive with titles that make them seem like part of a long running series centered on paranormal mysteries. This entry follows the same pattern by casting you as Riley, a former police detective turned ghost investigator, who is hired to examine a supposedly haunted Victorian mansion. Even though it is the first game in the Mystery Phantoms series, it closely follows the developer’s earlier releases and preserves the same mechanics and overall design ideas. Gameplay revolves around exploring scenes and searching for interactive spots. The cursor helps you with this by changing into different icons when you hover over something important. Most of the time it turns into a magnifying glass that opens a close up view of a smaller scene, but there are other icons as well. A hand means you can pick something up or interact with it directly, while a cursor with cogs indicates that the spot requires an item. Items are stored in the inventory at the bottom of the screen. You use them by clicking an item to place it on your cursor and then clicking the place where you want to use it. If the item is not correct, it simply returns to the inventory. Finding the right item is usually not too difficult because the solutions tend to make sense and you rarely carry too many items at once. Your character also comments on many interactions, often giving a hint about what might be needed. Some close up scenes make things even clearer by showing icons of the exact items required, while others only display a question mark. If an item in your inventory has a plus symbol on it, that means it must be combined with one or more other items. Occasionally you will also need to collect several items of the same type, which is indicated by a number next to the item. Like many modern games in this genre, once you finish everything in a close up scene it becomes inactive and can no longer be accessed. The good news is that this also applies to tarot cards, which are the game’s collectibles. You cannot miss them while the scene is still active, though you can lose access to them if you move too far ahead or enter the next chapter. If you find all, you unlock a bonus scene from the main menu. To make sure you do not overlook anything, you can use the quick travel menu, which marks locations that still contain collectibles or directs you toward your next objective. The menu also includes a notebook describing several ghost types and their characteristics, with entries automatically receiving checkmarks as you progress through the game and gather evidence of their presence. One enjoyable touch in the game is the inclusion of hidden paranormal interactions. Clicking on certain unmarked areas can trigger supernatural animations, like a sheet mysteriously lifting off furniture or gusts of wind sweeping through a window. The game also features occasional dialogue choices that lead to different cutscenes depending on how you respond to ghosts, although these decisions do not influence the overall story or gameplay. The only meaningful variation comes in the form of an additional scene available in each of the four chapters, but accessing them requires purchasing separate DLC. This can be frustrating for completionists, since some sections occasionally reference content tied to the DLC areas. While it does not impact the main storyline, the game constantly reminds you that part of the experience remains inaccessible, forcing you to continue to the next chapter without fully completing everything available. Another annoying issue involves the achievements. Although they unlock correctly within the game itself, the corresponding Steam achievements remain locked, making them appear to be broken.
Should be the best hidden object game I had played till now. High quality on art design and 4 good stories. Lots different type of hidden object searching puzzles. Worth to have one set.
