Mystery Case Files: Rewind Collector's Edition

Back to basis for Mystery Case, great game for lovers of the first editions.

It's a very creative HOP-only game, meaning it solely consists of Hidden Object Puzzles, which is my preference. The story, while a bit repetitive, is creatively told. The bonus content is somewhat lackluster but acceptable. Overall, I enjoyed this game and recommend it. GAME CONTENT: 1) Use of explicit or offensive language? No. 9) Depictions of domestic abuse or violence? No. 10) Use of supernatural or occult themes or imagery? No. 11) Use of magic themes or magical imagery? No. 12) Are jump scares or other frightening elements included? No. 13) Depictions of suicide or self-harm? No. 14) Mention of diseases or medical conditions? No. 15) Using dolls or other toys in a potentially unsettling or creepy manner? No.

This game really did feel like a rewind - but back to the very first MCF games where there were nothing else but HOP, with only a few other puzzles. For me personally, I have really enjoyed the later titles which contains much more variety in both scenes and types of puzzles, and story richness. I found this game: - Repetitive; revisiting the same HOP-scenes over and over. - Too easy HOP and puzzles; solved in a flash - Too short; probably due to how easy it was, but also very little content. Positives: - Fun to revisit some of the old characters - If you love HOP scenes - this is great!

I like it. It just series of rooms with searching of hidden objects without stupid wandering about.

This game brings old memories of the first mystery case files , only hidden objects scene , it's very good & challenging. Highly recommend if you are a fan from the very first hour !

Not the best this franchise has to offer. But it is fun to go back to the roots of the series where it was just one hidden object screen after another. With some logic puzzles thrown in. Like those old games though, it is very repetitive. And some of the puzzles are down right tedious. But anyone who is a fan of the Mystery Case Files titles should still find a lot to love about this one. Just don't expect it to make number one on your list of MCF titles.

Despite being one of the later MCF games, the game is only hidden object and puzzle screens. You do not get to do any of the point and click use of items. I got too tired of all the hidden object screen. As there really isn't any story, it did't keep my interest and I gave up on it.

Only the super puzzles in the game were worth while playing. The rest of the game was stupid.

I thoroughly enjoyed this game. Not too much of a storyline, challenging and fun. My type of game and a recommendation for a relaxed night.
