Mysarium: Cozy Lo-fi Terrarium

Just like I said in my demo review, this game is fantastic. I've already put a few hours in and I'll be continuing tonight, but I really want to congratulate the developers and the artist who made all the assets. This game truly manages to relax you, and I'm loving the water terrariums. I hope that one day more aquatic items get added, like corals and other underwater things, because right now that's the part I've enjoyed the most. The recipe/lab side is really nice too! I thought it would be more complex, but reading the riddles and making a couple of attempts, you get a good understanding of what they mean. It's a good change of pace to switch between the relaxing terrarium and the lab, where you have to use your brain a bit more. I really hope this game gets discovered and played by lots of people, because it absolutely deserves it for the price it's being sold at, honestly I'd even pay a bit more for it.

Good App. It feels a niche that was needed and the price point is worthy. I find myself worrying over what my mysarium creation is doing far more than I should... which brings me to my next part - suggestions. Maybe there's a roadmap out there but I don't see it. For this game to really catch on, the mysarium needs to become an entity, a living, organic space, evolving. I'd hope to see a dynamic animation/interaction branch for each asset. The placeables should have a life cycle of their own; the benches grow ivy, the flowers have season, the pond decor float about, the structures wear. I want to see weather patterns within, day cycles, fragile things should break and need tlc... I want to CARE for my terrarium, not just make a stationary painting and watch clouds float by and hope for a creature. Let it breathe. Another thing: the diary. I love the exerpts, they're lovingly and creatively written. I just want to create my own observations as well, or use the diary to log tasks or journal. Please allow the player to have access to a diary. Also, please make the pop-out overlay scalable. It's tiny on my desktop and I still want to see what's going on in detail over my desktop. The color schemes are good, I'd like to see effects later such as blacklight, seasons, or liminal spaces. The music is very nice, I'm hoping for many more tracks in the loop eventually. The assets are decent but I'd hope for eventually much more variety, especially regarding organic things that can take on a personality. Overall, I'm excited about this product and I'll get value out of it. Thank you for making this.

In my opinion this is the best lo-fi desktop game ever. I like cozy games and this one is definitely lovely. Simply build your terrarium and enjoy low-fi music. Tons of combinations and these combinations sometimes make you unlock new creatures. Everybody is asking me the game name in office LOL

This is exactly the desktop game I was looking for: a calm experience with no stress, no timers, and no punishing mechanics. I keep it open while I work, and just watching my terrarium grow in the background helps me relax. I’m a macOS user, and far too often I have to give up on games I’d like to play because they don’t support Apple’s platform. Here, instead, it runs perfectly with no compromises, and I’m genuinely grateful the creators thought about Mac players too. I have no hesitation in recommending it to anyone who loves cozy games, lo-fi music, or simply needs a little corner of digital peace on their desk. For me, it has become the ideal game to keep open on my desktop.

친구랑 싸운뒤 충동적으로 구매했었는데 개인적으론 마음이 매우 진정되는 느낌이 들었음. 솔직히 개발자 정성에 비해 덜 유명한 겜 같기도 함. 한국어도 잘 번역되있음. 개인적으론 이미 느긋하게 즐기긴 좋지만 씨앗을 좀 더 자주 구할 수 있으면 좋겠음 많은 식물을 키우고 싶은 유저의 마음을 생각한다면 말이죠.

Bought it at launch and couldn't put it down. The built-in Pomodoro timer actually made me more productive — you work, the game rewards you with coins and unlocks. The editor is surprisingly deep, and the hidden story in the journal was a genuine, touching surprise. A little indie gem to keep in a corner of your screen. Highly recommended. 👍

Mysarium is such a lovely and relaxing little game! The terrarium customization is simple but really satisfying, and the lo-fi music creates the perfect cozy atmosphere while studying, working, or just taking a break. I also really like how the Pomodoro timer is connected to the in-game progress, because it makes staying productive feel much more rewarding. Finally, a game that relieves stress instead of creating it! You keep it open in the background, and whenever you need to unwind or clear your head, just 10 minutes is enough to reset your mind. At first the set of available items may feel a little sparse, but after just a few minutes you'll have already unlocked levels and collected enough coins to buy paid items, all simply by interacting with your terrarium. Highly recommended for anyone going through intense study periods or working long, repetitive days at the office. VG!

After trying out the demo, I was amazed to see how many new features and details have been added to the full game. I was particularly surprised to discover that you can add water to the terrarium. WOW. That’s a brilliant idea, and it’s made me even more curious to see what I’ll unlock next (though I still need to figure out the guest section, lol). Mysarium remains the perfect desktop companion while working, and the Pomodoro timer is a great addition. I can’t wait for the next updates and hope for even more customization options. GG
