My Time at Portia

This game does many things better than the more well known titles. Biggest downfall is the artstyle. One of the more unique thing the game has actual story progression and worldbuidling. NPCs actually have more than 2 lines and things actually happen after quests are done. Suited for players who care about "start a new life in Portia" type of gameplay, though it is potentially as grindy as other similar games. Not suited to players looking to start another virtual part-time job in the fields/mines so virtual $$$ goes from 0 to 9999999.

i got this game while it was on sale for $6. and let me say, even if it wasn't on sale, its for sure worth the buy. there is so much packed into this game and I have only been playing for a good 5 hours. i became interested in this game as I heard people saying it's like a 3D Stardew Valley, and while I can say I do see that, I promise you there is a lot of features that sets this apart from Stardew. its so much fun and i love it so much.

A fun game with lots of variety of activities

the map doesn't stay active so you can find your destination (Commerce Guild) before the sun goes down

Have somewhere between 50-100 hours logged on the switch version and loved this game! Sad I missed out on the voice acting of the PC version, but I enjoyed it nonetheless.

I usually love games like this (Stardew, coral island, spiritfarer, etc.), but I found this game very surface-level, scattered/confusing, and slow. Can't say I like the art style or character design either. Wish I'd given it less of a chance so I could refund it.
