画面很美很治愈,音乐也不错,NPC大部分都比较蠢,任务难度不大,引导做的还不错,打怪简单,中间还穿插了一些小游戏,很适合放空大脑休闲娱乐。
Was this a beautiful farming sim visually? Yes. Did it offer a lot of promise? Yes, but intuitively, I had to look up way too many things too early into the game to enjoy it. That alone will put me off, especially since I enjoy a lot of farming sims. I'm sure if I stuck with it, it would have been interesting, but the thing that made it a no for me was paying to get into the mines, the game mechanics themselves, and the character interactions feeling inauthentic. On the back of this, it's been recommended to me to try the other games from the dev, so definitely will do that as while I appreciate I didn't like this, I'm encouraged that some of these issues have been fixed or its been better developed in different iterations.
great all around

Ich liebe Cozy Games und My Time at Portia hat genau diesen Nerf getroffen. Da bald My Time at Evershine erscheinen soll, kann ich nur Empfehlen M Time at Portia vorher gespielt zu haben. :3
While a credible game, it's not particularly groundbreaking in the genre. The mining mechanics are interesting, but once the tunnels are built they aren't particularly navigable--which is a shame. Doubling back through the tunnels to reach another closer relic is incredibly satisfying. Jet packing into the ceiling for 30 seconds is not. The fishing mini-game is likewise decently engaging. Plenty of different characters to meet--though I am absolutely going to complain about the seven identical twins. If you aren't familiar with mandarin, let me enlighten you: their names are Eldest wu, 2nd wu, 3rd wu, etcetera all the way to 7th wu. I'm also not sold on the queer coded character being obsessively vain, we can do better than that. Or the over the top valley girl accent on another. It does appear that there are some more thoughtful family dynamics amongst some of the NPCs, but I'm generally stuck wondering if this host of flawed characters were scripted beyond those flaws. Kudos for the full voice cast. This would probably all be fine except the game play loop just isn't quite right. The beginning is building machines to process materials for more machines to process more materials. Which can work for a zen experience, but not at this speed. Moreover, I've already run out of room for said machines. It feels like someone shoved a pay-to-win mobile city builder in the middle of a farming sim. And it's a bit light on the farming. I believe I needed three machines and several hours before I could create a planter box in which to plant seeds. Maybe it gets better as you sink more time into it and get a sufficient stockpile of mined materials, but as of the first 8 hours you are just building machines to make machines. Final gripe, the task board is way to hard for early game. Tasks ask for six of something you just managed to get one of after an in-game week. Low-level tasks should be asking for raw materials instead of competing for resources with mainline quests.
**I’ll pass.** Honestly, the world and overall concept seem really cool, but the explanations are an absolute nightmare. The game does a terrible job of teaching new players how anything actually works. You’re constantly asked to build things you’ve never built before, with basically no guidance. *“Build this. Good luck.”* Items aren’t properly explained. Your character’s health isn’t properly explained. Even basic things like how to store your inventory somewhere instead of throwing items away aren’t made clear. The very first mission asks me to build a bridge. Okay... except to build that bridge, I need to build a machine. To build *that* machine, I need another machine to smelt a material that I apparently have to find somewhere... except I have no idea where. Instead of making me want to discover the game, it just makes everything unnecessarily frustrating. The universe looks interesting, and I can see the potential, but if the onboarding for new players is this bad, I’m out. For this kind of game, I personally prefer **Palia**. It offers a similar cozy experience, but I find it much more intuitive and enjoyable to get into.
