My Pleasure - Season 3

[b]TL;DR: I'm giving it a "yes," but it is a BARELY THERE yes. I recommend it on sale or put it off until you just have no other options sating the AVN itch. It's story puts it below average while its adult scenes salvage it some.[/b] Guess I'm going to post this review for each one because I judge the story as a whole. This is a mediocre story that gets worse as it goes on. The game had initial promise, but the story never really goes anywhere. It does this annoying meandering that has you sitting through a lot of conversations that are dull, unnecessary, and often repetitive. The characters are ok; some are more interesting than others. The relationships are poorly wrought, overall. I have no idea why the MC is SUCH a babe magnet. I mean, wow, with minimal effort, literally every woman within a mile radius wants to ♥♥♥♥ his brains out. Which does make for a fair number of adult scenes; if that's your only interest, this may be an ok game for you. But there's very little depth to most of the relationships - though depth is implied by each of the female interests usually having insecurities. Unfortunately, many of those insecurities are the same between the characters (oh no, I'm an older woman, surely my large and generally perky breasts with flawless skin wouldn't interest him!). Which leads me to the next point - all AVNs generally have a particular interest that the writer tends toward. And this one is MILF. Which, again, is fine, except for the fact that the relationships with these characters are paper thin. There just isn't a lot of variety. The writing - meaning syntax, diction, etc. - is ok. It's not great. Mostly it just gets boring. It's really funny - the author actually gives you the option to skip certain dialogues because they're long and repetitive or to just give you a summary. If this isn't a tacit admission of verbosity, I don't know what is. It does make me laugh, though. "Brevity is the soul of wit." Fewer words often make better sentences. It just doesn't make sense to me - if you can offer someone the choice to read a more concise, direct version of something or skip repetition, why wouldn't you just present the more condensed version? In the words of Kevin from the office, "WHY WASTE TIME SAY LOT WORD WHEN FEW WORD DO TRICK?" The game does get worse as it goes on. The game just drags its feet with not much of a conflict, wandering from sex scene to sex scene like a...well, something that's slow. The adult scenes themselves, including art and animation, are good, though. Solid. On the higher end of quality in the genre's current meta, I'd say.

Season 3 completes the story arc of My Pleasure; however, there are so few plot and character elements that the story could have been finalized in a single season - two at most. So, Season 3 was comprised largely of jumping from one sex scene to the next, to the extent that it became boring and I clicked through scenes as quickly as I could. Some will find the grind - pun intended - worthwhile. I found it a waste of money.

As many AVNs work fairly well on SteamDeck and the same goes for My Pleasure. Played Seasone 1 and DLC 2 on the Deck, only to find out, that on the SteamDeck the import of S2 does not work, Therefore you cannot continue your original run. As SteamCloud is not implemented, there is also no way to get your S2 save(s) into Season 3 via another device. Update, to add insult to injury, I did two playthroughs on the PC, so that savegames from S2 could be loaded the way my story goes, it only loads 1!!! The dev should look into this. The story took a very strange direction compared to last season, there was something "within the family" there, but this fetish becomes much larger in this chapter / season. Something that is nothing for me. Furthermore, the "SKIP" function seems to be disabled. Therefore, I cannot recommend this Season.

First season offered the most fun with getting to know the characters and having decisions impact so much. This one seems to depend entirely on the old saves from the first game which I played on my other computer. I'm not going through all that again to see what I missed on this one. Also, I've been spoiled by having animated climax scenes in other games so the scenes in this one are rather boring. There is some nice imagery here and there but that isn't enough to warrant the price.

This is boring..... just click 2 next scene, and that scene is no different from the last.... Season 1 was good, season 2 was nice. This is, like someone said, a (boring) porn movie

This marks the conclusion of this story. Much like the other seasons, there are little translation oddities that make you pause for a moment, but nothing criminal. There are a lot of possible endings and the scenes are well done as usual. Overall, a good finish to this AVN.

If you played S1&2 with a different name from he default, well your screwed, your stuck with Larry for S3.

ENG: The third season of My Pleasure, the masterpiece by Tasty Pics Studio, sees our Lazy Larry (name of player's choice) return home from the weekend at the beach house together with Cassandra, Julia and Lori, ready for a Monday that promises to be full of events for the girls. In fact, Lori returns to college classes, Julia has a job interview, Haley is at the hotel ready to testify against Cornell, helped by Lillian, while Daphne is in another more luxurious hotel, probably doing her own thing, which means that our hero and Cassandra have no commitments for the day and can stay home alone. As the mysterious lucid dreams gradually become more and more astral projections, the plot ([spoiler]“plot” is just a figure of speech, since it basically only serves as a link between the numerous and frequent spicy scenes, not that we complain about it, as every now and then a title like this is definitely good![/spoiler]) comes to its climax and, depending on the choices made, will lead us to the 7 possible endings ([spoiler]it will lead to a selection screen of the unlocked endings, one for each main girl plus the harem ending[spoiler], which unfortunately is not unique, but pratically takes up all the others by reusing the scenes from the individual endings[/spoiler] and the epilogue)[/spoiler]. It should also be mentioned that, presumably for Patreon reasons, the supposed family ties with the girls, go to loosen further, the birth mother of our protagonist is even mentioned, while remaining unnamed, canonizing de facto that Cassandra is not his mother and therefore Julia is not his aunt and so on, although still, from other dialogues, one still gets the impression that the forcing remains. In any case, given a choice, I personally prefer the step-“thing” terminology rather than the overt incest, for reasons of my own, even though it sometimes seems awkward from how blatantly faux and forced the situation is on a narrative level, but I know that others give more weight to the issue in the other sense and it's fair to point it out. Va inoltre detto che, presumibilmente per motivi di Patreon, i presunti legami familiari con le ragazze, vanno ad allentarsi ulteriormente, viene persino menzionata, pur rimanendo senza nome, la madre naturale del nostro protagonista, canonizzando de facto che Cassandra non sia sua madre e quindi Julia non ne sia la zia e via discorrendo, anche se comunque, da altri dialoghi, si ha comunque l'impressione che la forzatura rimanga. Ad ogni modo, potendo scegliere, io personalmente preferisco la terminologia da step-"cosa" piuttosto che l'incesto dichiarato, per motivi miei, anche se talvolta pare imbarazzante da quanto è palesemente farlocca e forzata sia la situazione a livello narrativo, ma so che altri danno più peso alla questione nell'altro senso ed è giusto farla notare. In ogni caso, sarà necessario avere un salvataggio della fine della seconda stagione per proseguire la nostra partita precedente, in caso non ne si avessero, ce ne sono due inclusi direttamente nel gioco, pronto per essere caricato da pagina 1, attenzione che il gioco legge i salvataggi del precedenti, quindi ci saranno anche quelli nella pagina di caricamento, pertanto non sarà possibile iniziare una nuova partita direttamente dalla terza stagione. La guida in .pdf, acquistabile come DLC, è disponibile all'interno della cartella del gioco sfogliando i file locali, si noti inoltre che questa comprende anche le stagioni precedenti. La galleria riprende da pagina 11 fino alla 19, e di nuovo consiste di una sequenza di immagini e video senza dialoghi e descrizioni, pertanto potrebbe essere il caso di salvare spesso se si volesse rivivere le scene con più contesto. Inoltre, al fine di sbloccare tutte le opzioni, si ricordi che a differenti scelte ed "esiti" nelle scene corrispondono differenti immagini della galleria, in più non c'è il salvataggio su Steam Cloud. [spoiler]Nota personale: Haley si tiene saldamente il titolo di best girl anche in questa terza stagione, tallonata da Natasha (possibilmente senza il marito, ma comunque in versione segretaria o maestra), con la quale compone il Dream Team di questo gioco, e a cui si potrebbe facilmente aggiungere anche la terza testa di serie della classifica, ossia Cassandra che occupa il terzo posto di un podio estremamente ravvicinato. Seguono poi una sorprendente Daphne, una Julia un po' meno magica, un'intraprendente Lori e infine una dolce e una volenterosa Barbara, con Lillian, della quale guadagnare il didietro è un po' macchinoso ma molto soddisfacente lavoro ([spoiler]arrivati alla scena con lei e Cassandra, scegliere di avere solo un momento con lei senza realizzare i suoi desideri, e poi andare avanti con la storia fino a quando non viene a casa nostra[/spoiler]), come menzione d'onore.[/spoiler]
