My little Kim
My Little Bomb is one of those small and bizarre indie projects that could only come from a developer unafraid to mix dark humor with absurd simplicity. Created by Nikita “Ghost_RUS” and published by Ghost_RUS Games, the title presents itself as a satirical clicker-style game about nurturing a nuclear bomb as if it were a pet. The very concept borders on the ridiculous—a childish and cartoonish representation of one of humanity’s most destructive creations—and that irony forms the core of its appeal. Rather than trying to simulate science or warfare, My Little Bomb plays out as a parody of idle games and political stereotypes, wrapped in crude but effective visuals and a tone that wavers between the playful and the morbid. At its heart, the gameplay is simple to the point of absurdity. The player’s primary task is to “grow” a bomb by clicking, upgrading, and occasionally purchasing improvements that make it expand faster or look more extravagant. As the bomb evolves, it takes on increasingly odd appearances, complete with accessories and cosmetic flourishes that emphasize the game’s humor over realism. The experience is designed to be repetitive but strangely addictive, much like other idle games where progression depends on accumulating numbers and unlocking small rewards. The inclusion of achievements provides some light motivation for completionists, but there are no complex systems or hidden depths here—just a tongue-in-cheek cycle of clicking, upgrading, and laughing at the ridiculousness of the premise. Visually, My Little Bomb is as straightforward as its mechanics. The graphics are simple and intentionally cartoonish, with bright colors and minimal detail that give the game a satirical, almost childlike charm. It’s the kind of aesthetic that could make someone unaware of the premise think they were looking at a mobile toy app rather than a game about building bombs. The contrast between the harmless visuals and the subject matter is where the game finds its identity. It doesn’t take itself seriously for a single moment, and that irreverence is exactly what makes it memorable. The music and sound effects are equally basic but fit the atmosphere—quirky, repetitive, and intentionally exaggerated. The tone of My Little Bomb is unapologetically satirical. It uses its subject as a means to poke fun at both the culture of clicker games and the absurdity of global politics. By making the player directly responsible for creating something dangerous but treating it like a virtual pet, the game toys with the player’s sense of morality and amusement. It’s dark humor in its purest form—provocative but delivered with enough self-awareness that it feels more like a joke than a statement. The developer has a history of creating short, offbeat games that thrive on this kind of shock value, and My Little Bomb fits squarely within that tradition. It’s less about gameplay depth and more about the reaction it provokes, whether that’s laughter, discomfort, or sheer confusion. That said, the game is not without its limitations. Its simplicity means it offers only a few minutes or hours of entertainment before its novelty wears thin. There’s no real progression curve beyond the visual upgrades and incremental boosts, and once the humor has run its course, there’s little incentive to keep playing. Some players may find the theme distasteful or too flippant, especially given its use of nuclear imagery, while others will appreciate the absurd satire for what it is—a harmless parody that exaggerates its concept for comedic effect. As with most titles by Ghost_RUS, the low production budget and minimalistic design are part of the charm, but they also limit the game’s appeal to a niche audience that enjoys oddball experiments rather than polished experiences. Despite its flaws, My Little Bomb succeeds on its own terms. It’s a quick, irreverent distraction, a game that exists purely to amuse and provoke without overstaying its welcome. Its humor is dark, its mechanics are deliberately shallow, and its presentation feels as though it’s mocking the very idea of taking games too seriously. For fans of weird indie curiosities and satirical time-wasters, it delivers exactly what it promises: a strange, funny, and slightly uncomfortable experience that you’ll remember more for its concept than its gameplay. My Little Bomb might not explode with innovation, but it certainly leaves an impression—an eccentric piece of digital humor that captures the spirit of indie experimentation in all its unapologetic weirdness. Rating: 6/10
Best gameplay of my life (after playing this game Kim Jong Un is going to put my family in a work camp)
It's... a game? Only buy this to troll your friends or for a free perfect game.
What a piece of junk. I think this developer is one to add to the DO NOT BUY list. Even at £0.30 it's over priced.
