An RPG game themed around memes, dreams, and beating the living ♥♥♥♥ out of your inner darkness with the power of CBT (no, not THAT kind of CBT, the therapy kind). It's not too long of a ride, but it doesn't overstay its welcome either. There's also fun references to other games by this same developer if you've played the other games by them Combat wise it's a fairly standard turn-based RPG, still fun though and I like the names of the skills (and how if you're feeling lucky you have options to more powerful version of them that have a chance of missing) As for the art, it's pretty good. Some of the characters are actual art and there are CGs as well, while the more dreamy and nightmarish ones are AI generated art which I found to be a fairly creative use of AI art Overall if this game appeals to you and or you enjoy others by the same developer, I'd recommend getting it

Sadly my inner darkness is not a hot anime girl because I have aphantasia. 0/10 couldn't relate. (serious review: it's a short meme game that could give people in a specific situation useful advice, which is better than most meme games, but it's still just a dubiously-written meme game)

A short game about making peace with your inner darkness and learning to deal with it. By antropomorphizing it as an anime girl, we see how the shadows in our minds would act if they were a person. And, well, you might learn that the darkest part of your mind is not so bad, it can be even really hot, but you need to deal with it. This game actually has great metaphors that can be good advice in real life, and embodies a lot of stoic philosophy. As a stoic myself, I loved this. This game is so wholesome. Thanks for existing, Sigyaad.

I had so much fun playing this game. I am curious though, did they ever catch the rat? 10/10 would recommend, very funny story and worth spending a bit of time playing through,

My Inner Darkness Is A Hot Anime Girl! is a pretty darn solid game with a story that tackles with some of the things humans have to deal with sometimes in our lives such as depression, anxiety, bullying or isolation much like some of Sigyaad's previous games. As a long time fan (if you can call me that) since Sakuya Izayoi Gives You Advice And Dabs, I'm pretty happy to see Sigyaad gives a stab again into an JRPG format with a returning character and see them improve over time, I'm excited to see their next project unveiled and hope they'll grow larger as the days pass. As for the game itself: Pretty solid overall with a quick pace for what it is. It's a little clunky with the hitboxes sometimes in the overworld (such as in the classroom with it being a bit dense) and camera controls over the game feels a bit questionable but is most likely for accessibility and make things easier for some people. I do like the first person look and reminds me of Danganronpa a bit, though I never used it much and felt it was much easier to just do third person but I would like to see an RPG game use more of this as it's a bit of a rarity I feel like. The fights are pretty alright with them not being strenuous and a breeze for anyone who never played an RPG, with it being more of a story telling device than a fight-fight with story, though I would like an option for the game to be harder and more strategic as I felt a bit bad not drinking all that [spoiler] [strike] grape juice [/strike] non-alcoholic wine that I bought, I just wanted to feel like amore. [/spoiler] All in all, pretty great game that you should get, might just give you some life advice that you never knew you needed.
