MY FOX - Desktop Wild Pet

This is a nice background which gives a good atmosphere for your desktop. It's also pretty well optimised, putting about 10-15% load on my otherwise idle 9600K and 10-15% load on my 2060 Super. Pretty good for rendering a fairly large scene. I cannot however recommend this background in its current state because there are several outstanding problems. There is no way to control the camera or the fox, so you are left being able to "interact" with your fox by calling them over to you, throwing a ball or telling them to go somewhere, to which the fox promptly returns to walking the world again. There are some other actions that happen on occasion such as encountering a wolf, hunting a bunny or being attacked by birds but there is no way for you to prompt this yourself or actively seek out these minor events as you cannot take the fox anywhere. Auto-pause only pauses the game when you are in another fullscreen game and does not work on a per-monitor basis. Therefore if you are watching a video or playing other media you will still hear the noises of the fox background. There could at least be an auto-mute option when other audio is playing but this seems to be another oversight. I like the idea of having a desktop pet that will grow up over time but without being able to interact with it properly or control it I don't see the point. I think it's a big shame because clearly a lot of work has been put in to make the world but without an instruction guide, controls or the ability to make meaningful interactions you cannot really do much and you don't even know what you are able to do. This desktop falls pretty flat due to this and there are a lot of tweaks and improvements that need to be made first before I will be able to recommend this

The product is very decent. It's the first time 3DM made a game, not a software as they used to. My Fox is a desktop game, that doesn't require your attention all the time, so you can just play it when you have a small break or while waiting for a game to load. The graphics and sounds are very cute, also the "RPG" side is playable as you can interact with your fox: - you can feed it - help it make some decisions while being on a trip across the land - you can play with it - you can see it gown up As for the price, the game is very affordable for basically everyone, therefore there's no way I cannot not give it 10/10!

C'est ultra reposant de s'occuper de ce petit bout de chou Adoptez un renard, et regardez le grandir ! Vous pouvez même l'aider à chasser au début en assommant les lapins. Ou jouer à va chercher, ou le caresser. ou.. lui dire va là. C'est un fond d'écran interactif, donc même vous êtes occuper il peut tourner en fond vous avez une musique apaisante et le p'tit renard qui de temps en temps pousse son petit cri(quoique soit le nom du dit cri)

开了十几个小时的体验，本来以为就是个摸鱼游戏挂着就行，但突然在森林中找到一个箱子，正好身上有把钥匙（也是之前瞎转找到的），本来特简单一事，但这傻b互动功能做的真太差，指定狐狸到达的功能键按半天没反应，一着急就会按到旁边给球的功能键，然后狐狸瞎几把跑，镜头不能手动也是自动转，好不容易到达箱子边，疯狂点箱子没反应，点钥匙没反应，拖拽也没反应，箱子就抖了一下，然后狐狸不耐烦又走开了，靠北哦什么辣鸡游戏？

As a huge Fan of 3DM Wallpaper i was really excited to get a key for this Game. The Art Style like in every game is just beautiful,the same goes for the calm music. The game doesnt really has a big story besides you being a fox who get left behind by his family who went trough a portal?? (kinda weird and a small mood killer for the opening scene) But sadly the game has a few bad spots: The Camera in my opinion is only good for Cutscenes but for the gameplay itself horrible,sometimes i cant really move my Fox besides i can only look at the Ground The button for the activities like moving,playing etc sometimes dont work. I needed to click 20+ times on the "Move " button for my Fox being able to move. What i also really dislike is that you are just getting thrown into the life of the fox,you dont get any information about the controls and what to do,how to hunt,what the button do that you use to interact and move your fox etc. I see that the Devs put alot of work and love into the Game but in its current state i wouldnt launch it again until further updates.

11/10 Would let the cute fetch-playing fox drag me randomly though nature again! It's not really a game, just something to have on your screen that's relaxing. The scenery is stylized and looks like a painting. There is a FoV option in the settings for those who may get motion sick by random camera movement.

Wonderful interactive background. I would love to see this develop more! This is early access so keep in mind it may have some hiccups if you purchase. The application does run just fine for me and has no issues running behind other services or applications. when an application is open over the software it does drop frames a bit. Great start though! Thanks for letting me try this!
