My Ex-Future Family Season 2

First steam comment I read: "The graphics are good" The graphics are definitely not good for a 2025 release, the models and environment textures look like they were rendered 10 years ago, I had to turn the audio off because the voice sound effects are really bad and unrealistic, not only that they're looped into EVERYTHING every 10 seconds. I find 90% of the models extremely unattractive and I don't really feel any personality from them, the writings too formal, it just doesn't sound like a natural conversation and I couldn't even tell you what the story was about. The games description says "Play as a young man who seduces girls who surround him".. There is no seduction, you literally walk up to the girls and sex just happens lol... 0 build up, 0 flirting, 0 seduction.

The graphics are good, the story is .. there is a story. But the real issue with this game is that it uses some stats to determine outcomes. Which is fine normally but not here. You get conversations options, but what you don't get how they will affect (mostly ruin) your stats, with stats = content. Other times no matter what you pick they game will ruin your stats. And in the game you get prompts about the deluxe edition which includes a cheat mechanism. From the first game I remember that you can add points onto your stats with the cheats. One needs to try various options going way back, but this is not the point of AVNs. They are not early 2000 style RPGs. The first game was reasonable. By the way one cannot carry progress from the first to the second, even though the second game continues the story from the first. Lets say that the game motivates one to trade saving one's time by buying the deluxe edition. Most games of this type have a back action, as in I mis-clicked or whatever, so that you can take back what you did. But these devs know better. Apparently they think that you shouldn't have this facility available all the time. This game needs some serious re-design. And to top all off, these guys they are writing a circa 1992 adventure game, so every so often they will ask you to type something from a dialog 10 screens back. Like do you remember 10 digit phone number i showed you ? And then you have the ending of the second episode. First out of the blue your character starts spouting crap, just so a bad ending is "justified", otherwise your character is required to become a walking mat. I don't know maybe there is a checklist somewhere for renpy devs. - - Make player identify with walking mats. - Have player accept unreasonable behavior - Save 'development' time, the extra hour it would take, by not writing out choices. A choice technically speaking is one or two images, if new images are needed at all, some lines (strings) in the script file and a flag to be used down the line. As in player told me to go pound sand so now i can't have him carry my shopping bags. But hey if people put up with poor writing there is no point in having the player choose how to react in certain situations.

Disliking the first season a lot, I decided to give it a small chance to redeem itself by the 2nd season, however the poor story and writing continues in this season with no improvement in any segment compared to the previous scenes. It does offer a variety of pathss one can opt for, however the story simply does not make any sense. Visually the game is alright, though not outstanding. Unfortunately after giving this developer multiple tries with several games of his, I am not committing myself anymore to any of his games. It just doesn't do the job and I had enough after 75 minutes of playing.

7.5 good nap-game (you might be surprised & wonder why my final score on the game is so high, especially after all the dislike for the first game... well... it is because the good parts of this game outshine the bad parts), however the spelling is messed up, and although the MC is a jerk, as well as some animations could be better, the models look a bit old mixed with new... like the graphics could be better but it is crisp clean, even if the story is interesting... it has flaws, the stuff mentioned above... kind of hampers the story a bit... illogical actions definitely do happen, but it doesn't stick out too much. i like the selection of girls, especially since they are on the pretty side of things, nothing worse than a Nap-Game with ugly faces, lol. (beyond grace & camilla, most of the girls are fresh and even the lesser ones are cuties, like Sel) Mary is a bad girl, in the best way... the story is long, in a good way, that ending...??? i forgot Hermi ...she was the one who needed a JOB. so dont go into this thinking that there is no story, there is one, part 1 was rougher, i love Season 2 that much more. i didn't try the DLC yet, but i hope it's better than S1 DLC, because the story is nicer here. (even if the MC has some double standard/ douchebag opinions on Sharing& Cucking/ XXwork & Onlyfriends Content) i want a S3 because of all the sub plots & characters that need to be fleshed out, development is key, 7.6 outta 10. scenes are short, still wacky Camilla faces (that i dont know how i feel about them, but its kinda... uhhh?) i like that the MC is a dom, but he in a weird way is one of the least interesting parts of the story, the ending is abrupt but okay.... i guess it makes sense...i gotta be honest, score lowered to 7.5 for the ending is too quick & makes me feel like the story could have been better there, like Camilla helping you clean up & we never get enough Janna content

Only an ok game, even with the walkthrough, which costs extra, still have trouble getting enough of a stat to see all the scenes. Very frustrating, and then limited save slots doesn't help. Women are decent, but not good enough scenes to make up for all the frustration. Only buy on deep sale, then you might consider paying for the premium edition.

Writing is not very good, English definitely not the first language. Don't like games that will end 3/4 of the way through if you make 1 wrong decision and have to start over and play it a bunch of times just to try and make it through the chapter. I stopped playing until a walk through was released so I bought it and it doesn't work and I can't get my money back. I will not be buying anything else from the studio.
