My Bloody Weekend 2

For $2.50 canadian, this FMV game is OK. It's mostly QuickTime Events. The music is good! The checkpoints are good, nice for a little throwaway game.

I can't hate this. It is short, like 20 min if you don't die. The story is sh*t. It doesn't really make sense, and it is more like a bunch of similarly themed scenes than a coherent movie. But still, it is a labor of love that falls into the so-bad-it's-good category. But it should be free to reach that cult classic level it deserves. It is painfully short. I was hoping the ending of the game was the end of the first chapter. Needs to be 99 cents or free. I'm splitting hairs, but $1.99 is too much. It takes about 10 minutes to play it through. Killer music though!

second in the series QTE game with a homemade horror film as the backdrop. Playthrough is about 25m unless your looking to see all possible fail scenes (which we did). Its cheap, its cheesy, its stupid and I loved it.. Well worth the price for fans of indie horror.

My Bloody Weekend 2 ist ein kurzes FMV Horrorspielchen von Necronomicon Games. Zur Story: 3 Jahre nach dem "Butterfly House Massacre" zieht ein Mann in das Nachbarhaus. Leider ist die Leitung in dem Haus sehr schlecht weswegen der Anruf zu Beginn des Spiels abbricht. Und natürlich ist auch der "Blacksuit Ripper" (Namen hab ich mir ausgedacht) zurück und macht gnadenlos Jagd auf den Mann, dessen Mission es ist den Killer ein für allemal zu besiegen. Doch am Ende gibt es zwei spannende Plot-Twists. Zum Gameplay: Das Gameplay wurde stark verbessert. Statt sich durch das Betätigen der ABCD Tasten die Finger zu verkrampfen, kann man jetzt entspannt WASD nutzen. Die Tasten werden (aus im finalen Duell) länger auf dem Bildschirm angezeigt. Apropos Bildschirm! Der Entwickler hat diesem Spiel nicht nur Untertitel sondern auch Vollbild (im Hauptmenü anwählbar) geschenkt, was es deutlich einfacher macht die QTEs fehlerfrei zu bestehen. Fazit: My Bloody Weekend 2 ist eine große Verbesserung in Sachen Grafik und Gameplay . Die Story ist wieder herrlich trashig, behält aber die Geschehnisse des ersten My Bloody Weekends bei. Den Preis von 1,99€* finde ich auch voll ok. 4,5/5 *Und danke an Necronomicon Games, welche so freundlich waren mir einen Key für dieses Spiel zur Verfügung zu stellen, Grüße gehen raus.
