a very good casual game. I recommend it. it's very cute made. a good length of story. very cool pixel graphic I love it. some puzzles. the price of this game is alright.
Pretty solid, but there's still some signature Stranga games jank
Spelling mistakes, grammatical errors, sure it's not the end of the world, but you'd think by now there'd have been a bit more proofreading and spellchecking, because this has been an issue with Stranga games from the start. Honestly, still kind of buggy, going from fullscreen to windowed doesn't work properly, just like every other game by Stranga I've played so far; there's something up with the therapist where you can give him the doll after giving him the brain, and you can just continuously give him the doll even after that if you want. There's no autosprint which is really annoying, and the sprint that does exist feels really slow, particularly in the larger areas, so I think some areas could be made smaller, or the sprint speed increased. The pixel art is pretty great honestly, a stand out example is Sombria's sort of disappear animation, that's pretty materful, visually this game is a massive step up from something like "Just ignore them", the character portraits do feel really underutilised though, they're by far some of the best work in the game but don't even have different expressions, it's one of those things were that little bit of missing polish stands out, I would've loved if they were utilised a bit more even just to convey visual information, rather than just who's talking. The music is great -at times maybe a little repetitive- but I still loved it. The story, honestly I felt it was a bit all over the place, it could do with some polishing, streamlining, the whole
it was all a dream, you were in a coma all along
thing is kind of overdone, and can feel pretty dissatisfying, I'm still not sure how I feel about it, I think it's serviceable at least, but I would've maybe preferred it stay a bit more on the supernatural side, but the story may need a lot of tweaking for that and it's tough to say if I'd still have enjoyed the final product after those tweaks, execution matters. At the end of the day, it's mostly a narrative game, it's a lot of reading, some puzzles, it could maybe do with a bit more show don't tell, but for what it is I think this is pretty solid, I usually go really in depth with all my gripes, but there wasn't a whole lot that bothered me here. I'm yet to play Ashina, and feel kind of like I should've played that first to better understand the story and it's connections, I've been going through Stranga games semi-chronologically, saw "My big sister" was up next and decided to go with the remaster instead of the original, and it makes me wonder if the original had quite as many references or was as tied into Ashina, I feel like if it is that could be pretty confusing, I went into this aware of Ashina, and assumed "oh I might be missing some info that'd tie things together better", but not everyone will be aware of that, so I'm sure some people may feel more unhappy with this game, and I think that's a fair enough response. I enjoyed it for what it is, and I think this is pretty decent value, fairly short, maybe get it on a sale, but it's alright.
my sister would never do this! (i am an only child)
JOGO MUITO BOM, CURTI BASTANTE ELE ACHEI A HISTORIA DELE MUITO TRISTE MAS O FINAL FOI MUITO BOM TEM VARIAS OPÇÕES FINAIS PT,BR E PARA MIM MUDOU MUITO O REMASTERIZADO RECOMENDO MUITO
Fun game. The pixel art as good. The story was little confusing, but it made sense in the end.
6,5/10 A short narrative game with few gameplay elements that come from the point&click genre: find items A&B to reach item C which will unlock item D, etc... But most of the game progression is by reading dialogues. And I have to say that I really liked the personality of the little sister: playful, mischievous and fearless. It makes a lot of the dialogues quite funny. Plus the mysterious ambience of the story, I really enjoyed at least half of the game. After that, the mystery thickens too much, the overall tone is less humorous and sometimes a little clumsy. The game can be a bit weird or unpolished: I encountered 2 bugs, the first was when one of my choice killed a character, yet I was able to interact with his body and engage the discussion like if I had made the other choice. The second bug created a error window, yet the game resumed like if it was nothing. I was able to find several errors in the text: missing letters, "you're" instead of "your". Nearly every interactive elements of the game make a little text appears, but sometimes I almost missed some interactions because there was nothing written, for no logical reason. Some dialogues can be skipped while some can't, I don't know the reason either. There is also a strange dubbing, because it only exists for like 30 second in the whole game. Yet another narrative game that make it impossible to discover everything without a guide. There are 6 different endings, and some are very hidden. I had to experiment each of them to find my own interpretation of the story. And even then, I didn't understand everything. However I'm still curious to discover the other games from this developer that share the same universe.
really enjoyed this one. the atmosphere was great, the story kept me curious the whole time, and i liked how everything slowly came together. i was confused about a few things at first, but by the ending it all made sense, and it made me appreciate the story even more. definitely worth playing if you like horror games with a good narrative.
Милая игра на вечерок. Как хоррор практически не работает, но в общем целом сделана симпатично.
