About
Mutant Football League 2 is the outrageous, over-the-top spiritual successor to the ‘90s Sega Genesis cult-classic hit Mutant League Football.
This is not your parents’ football game or a bloated simulation that chases realism at the expense of fun. MFL 2 is a brutal, darkly comedic 8-on-8 arcade-style action-packed football game. Teams of Mutated Super-Humans, Monstrous Orcs, Skeletal Deadheads, and Armored BruiserBots are pit against each other in fantastical arenas packed with deadly traps and sinister hazards like buzzsaws and giant mutant worms. This “anti-Madden” blends the pick-up-and-play accessibility of arcade sports games with strategic depth and a buttload of monstrous mayhem. Referees don’t just blow calls — they get blown up. Players don’t just fumble — they explode into limbs and pink mist.
Create. Mutate. Dominate.
In Mutant Football League 2, you’ll create your dream team of mutant freaks and customize your team’s player composition and tactics. The right team is your ticket to gridiron glory, and you’ll have to define their playing style. Will you deploy a relentless offensive by mutilating the opposition? Or will you slice through the enemy’s defense with razor-sharp, brainy maneuvers? It’s up to you to show the world your prowess and become a true MFL legend. Under your guidance, these mutants will rise from scrubs to legends, crushing the competition with style and savagery across Mutant Football League 2’s single-player Season, Dynasty Supreme franchise mode, and online multiplayer.
Brace yourself for exploding body parts, comically horrific deaths, and blood splatters that paint the field red. Whether getting blitzed by a rampaging monster or succumbing to a trap-laden end zone, every game is a symphony of unpredictable chaos. Dirty Trick plays even allow teams to commit bannable atrocities; those poor refs… Nothing and no one is safe.
Choose from over 36 MFL teams composed of maniacal mutant versions of pro football superstars — 32 pro-league teams like the Karcass City Creeps, Killadelphia Evils, and Blitzburgh Steelheads, and 4 minor league teams like the Orcs of Hazards and Tokyo Terminators. MFL player cards also unlock historic players who can be signed in Free Agency; So, if you’d prefer to be a special snowflake, you can create an original team and craft a legacy of your own.
Evolve your mutant baddies to unlock new armor sets, mutations, and weapons such as chainsaws, shotguns, and more. Hell, you can even use SkillRoid Boosts to give your players special abilities during a game. We ain’t natty out here.
Become the ringleader of the freakshow in MFL2’s franchise mode. Start at the bottom of the league and claw to the top, turning pro by beating the competition across several seasons and winning Mayhem Bowls. Draft rookies every season and train them up to build a powerful roster.
Design your team's arena, strategically placing lethal hazards and manipulating the weather — buzz saws to trim the competition, fire geysers to turn up the heat, or drop a blizzard on those fools. Make your stadium into the kind of place where only your team loves to play, and everyone else just prays to survive.
Tim Kitzrow, the iconic voice of your favorite sports franchises — NBA Jam, NFL Blitz, NHL Hitz, and MLB Slugfest — commentates MFL 2, reciting plays and talking all kinds of smack. BOOMSHAKALAKA!

9/10 Football!!!!!
I am loving this game so much! I played lots of the first MFL on Switch, PS4 and PC. The thing I love the most is: THE CARDS THAT YOU GET ARE EARNED THROUGH GAMEPLAY, THERE ARE NO MICROTRANSACTIONS!! You can use the cards in Dynasty Supreme and you will not lose them, they will be on the binder always. I love that you can earn more cards with the halftime game show and that there is variation now, a murderball game, a field goal game and the classic ref attack game. Second, I love Create a Team you can get more logos the same way, via gameplay, you don't need to pay 2 dollars for a couple of logos and also you can create your stadium with whatever traps you want (Go Boozeland Hobos!!) Intros are cool as well as watching the replays with commentary from the player on the replay, also, I like that each character has his own design, not just in the photo. Dynasty Supreme is incredible, I feel like I am actually building a team from scratch and if you have cards, you can use them in that mode as I stated earlier. Things I don't like right now are miniscule, like the commentary with Grim, Bricks and Bricks Jr. is still the same as the last game but oh god, the same commentary repeats as much as it cans, I kill three players and the "Holy Montezuma's revenge" dialogue is the one that I hear all three times. The same when you score 2 points in the PAT if you run the ball Grim will say "The momentum in this game is shifting" and Bricks will say "Those are my bowels" if you pass the ball Bricks will say "I can feel the momentum in the game is shifting" and Grim will say "For the last time, you're not a Jedi, Bricks." I would love to hear Grim saying the name of Custom stadiums and where they are located as well as the name of the custom team like "The Boozeland Hobos go up against..." The model of the bruiserbots is kind of lame, in the first they were so bulky and awesome and... were are the demons, werewolves and aliens? They were in the first game, I hope the Gnashville Lycans have at least a werewolf on it's roster. And... for me that's basically it. I am loving this game as much as the first one, but the repetitive dialogue and the lack of demons, werewolves and aliens is kinda lame. I hope these come in a free patch and not with a "Tokyo Exterminators, Orcs of Hazard" and the alien team in a bundle that you need to purchase. Anyways, excelent game I love it. Excelent alternative to Madden, if you could make a basketball game I bet it would be a great alternative to NBA 2k games. Free, fun and addictive.
Fun, Fast paced, A decent learning curve & something to enjoy with friends, family. or strangers online competitively, As someone with a short attention mind set, I really enjoyed this game. Its football, comedy & violence, You can even customize your experience to a normal football game to straight up comedic chaos.
This game needs better balancing, especially with the offensive line. Opponents can hold sprint and get past the line for a sack almost every time, which makes pass rush unrealistic and repetitive. The cornerback play also needs improvement—defending wide receivers feels nearly impossible, even with good reads and tight coverage throughout the route. Interceptions are essentially nonexistent.
this game is awsome
Death, Destruction, Mayhem, & Football all in one game. what more is there to want.
it makes my Mutant MOIST af bro!!!
changing my review to negative until they learn to balance salary cap on dynasty, its an unbalanced joke
Just as much fun as the original with now even more carnage! Gotta love that! 10/10, would destroy the ref unprovoked again!
Would be fun, if, every play I get while losing, that gets me a large amount of yard, is not penalized, every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ time. When the game tells me, REF IS BRIBED KILL HIM, then I go to pick a play next chance I get, and the game makes me press the A button on my Controller, to display 0 available Formations/Plays, with no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ way to fix this, No, no, no, and 4 times more no, getting my money back. I have more fun in the trash bin playing Madden.
