Well written, funny, and engaging mystery with lots of fun gameplay and memorable moments. The unique and simplistic soundtrack stands on its own while the atmosphere and dialogue carry everything else. Without spoiling anything, I highly suggest you play through to the end to honor the creator, as she has since passed. Ms. Director will go down as one of my favorite RPGMaker games and I highly recommend it to any fans of: RPGs, noir, or funny lesbians. 9/10
A charming art-style and likeable characters really make this RPGMaker horror game stand out from the crowd. It's on the more fun-and-jokey end of the spectrum, and isn't especially scary, but it pulls off what it's going for very well. My only complaint with the game is that there are pretty frequent typos throughout. A pretty minor issue though, overall great game

This game is an amazing addition to the RPGMaker Horror Genre. The Characters, the story, the scares, and art style. It all made me crave more of whatever this gamedev decides to do. I couldn't stop until I got every ending. Do Yourself a favor and pick it up. You won't regret it.
"Ms.Director" is a free-to-play, noir-inspired RPG Maker horror game that combines mystery, humor, and a touch of the supernatural. Set in 1937, you play as Patricia Dahl, an actress who stumbles into a deadly audition at a mansion. Your mission? Help the ghosts of past victims find peace and escape the mansion without becoming a permanent resident yourself. The game offers a jazzy soundtrack to keep you on your toes, a mansion to explore, and multiple endings to discover. Players have praised its charm, quirky humor, and unique take on the 1930s. One reviewer noted, "A charming little adventure rife with cheesy jokes and quirky lesbians, Ms. Director is a solid lil' entry in the line of RPGmaker horror games." If you're in the mood for a lighthearted yet spooky adventure, "Ms.Director" is worth a try. And did I mention it's free?

I remember seeing this game when it was a demo. After all these years, I finally got the full version, and was not disappointed! Love the art, music, and story. It took me way longer than I would like to admit to get past the escape sequences, but overall I had a really great time playing this game.
This was a very fun game, and I'm actually surprised that it was. Considering that it's an RPGmaker game, very cheap, and not a very long one, but the story itself is what helped it a lot. It is a horror game, but there isn't any actual gore, or any type of jumpscares. Just to warn you though, there are LGBT characters in the game, so if you're not comfortable with it, don't buy it. Also, there are typos in the dialogue, but I was too focused on the game to care about it. I would recommend this game for the story and characters.
very charming
