For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. This game is beyond addicting, I feel like hours went by in minutes, minutes were milliseconds! I had a love for the Tony Hawk games getting me through my teenage years as an amateur skater, once skate came out I couldn't play them anymore I always wanted a realistic skating game. Well this takes the insanity of THPS feel and turns it into the ultimate arcade game full of destruction, metal and murder! -The characters are cool, the gameplay feels good too. -I feel there's plenty of career mode content for the price -Roguelite abilities make sense and are rad -Music is good enough to get you in the mood for some ultra violence Try the demo, then buy it like I did
Tony Hawk - bikes - guns - demons - METAL!!!

Motordoom, developed and published by Hobo Cat Games, is an unapologetically chaotic fusion of arcade sports, roguelite progression, and horde-based action that feels like it was built from a handful of wildly incompatible ideas—and then refined just enough to make them click. It draws clear inspiration from classic extreme sports games while layering in fast-paced combat and procedural upgrades, resulting in an experience that feels both nostalgic and unusually fresh. Rather than easing players into its systems, it throws everything at once: speed, tricks, enemies, and upgrades, all competing for your attention in a tightly compressed gameplay loop. The core experience revolves around riding through compact arenas on a motorbike while chaining tricks and fending off relentless waves of enemies. What makes this loop compelling is how tightly its systems are intertwined. Performing tricks isn’t just cosmetic—it feeds directly into your power growth, influencing score multipliers and unlocking mid-run enhancements. This creates a constant push toward risk-taking, where the most rewarding strategies involve maintaining momentum, pulling off complex trick combinations, and staying in the thick of combat rather than playing defensively. The result is a rhythm that feels almost musical once mastered, with movement, scoring, and combat flowing together in a single continuous motion. The roguelite structure reinforces this sense of experimentation. During each run, players collect upgrades that can dramatically alter how they play, from straightforward stat boosts to more unusual effects that reshape combat dynamics. Over time, additional characters, bikes, and modifiers become available, expanding the range of possible builds. This system adds depth to what might otherwise be a purely mechanical experience, encouraging players to adapt their approach based on the tools they acquire. No two runs feel exactly the same, and much of the long-term appeal comes from discovering new combinations that enhance both survivability and scoring potential. The game also offers a range of modes that cater to different playstyles. A more structured progression path provides objectives and unlocks, while endless and score-focused modes emphasize mastery and replayability. These options help extend the lifespan of the game, particularly for players who enjoy refining their skills and pushing for higher performance. However, the learning curve can be steep, as the game expects players to manage multiple systems simultaneously. Early sessions can feel overwhelming, especially for those unfamiliar with either trick-based gameplay or roguelite mechanics. Visually, Motordoom embraces a gritty, stylized aesthetic that complements its frenetic energy. The environments are dark and industrial, populated by grotesque enemies that contrast with the exaggerated, almost arcade-like animations of the player character. The presentation leans into its rough edges, giving the game a raw, underground feel rather than a polished, mainstream look. This identity is further reinforced by its soundtrack, which drives the pace with aggressive, high-energy tracks that match the intensity of the action, even if they can become repetitive over extended play sessions. One of the game’s greatest strengths is how it feels in motion. Controls are responsive, and the sense of speed combined with fluid trick execution makes every successful run feel exhilarating. When everything aligns—when you’re chaining tricks, dodging attacks, and clearing enemies in a seamless flow—the game reaches a level of engagement that few titles in its genre achieve. At the same time, this intensity can also be exhausting, as the game rarely slows down or gives players a chance to reset between moments of high pressure. Despite its strengths, Motordoom is not without flaws. The overall content offering, while solid, can feel limited after extended play, particularly once players have unlocked most of the available upgrades and characters. Some aspects of balance and level design can feel uneven, and occasional technical issues may disrupt the flow. Additionally, the game’s reliance on fast-paced multitasking can make it less accessible, as it demands both mechanical skill and quick decision-making from the outset. In the end, Motordoom stands out as a bold and inventive indie project that fully commits to its unusual combination of ideas. It thrives on its intensity, creativity, and willingness to experiment, offering a gameplay loop that is as demanding as it is rewarding. While its chaotic design and steep learning curve may not appeal to everyone, those who connect with its systems will find a highly engaging experience that rewards mastery and experimentation. It may not be the most polished or expansive title, but it delivers something genuinely distinctive in a crowded field. Rating: 8/10
If DMC, THS and Vampire survivor made a baby. Incredible gameplay loved everything about this, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ solid ass game. The music is also dope, it all blends together perfectly.

Fun game heavily inspired by the THPS series. Has a lot of charm. The level objectives are satisfying to complete. You can unlock a bunch of characters and skins.
