I played the Demo a while back and the game has come a long way. The combat is fun and strategic, the character designs are cool and cute, and the random generation makes each fight feel different. I've only just tsarted playing the full game and haven't made it past the castle's gates, but it's a fun game and I can't wait to fight the King! It could use some quality of life improvements, but I'm sure they're coming. A wonderful indie game overall!
Pros: Fire Emblem / Advance Wars style turn based tactics. Cute animal sprites/animations. Cons: Windowed mode not having selectable resolutions and forgetting fullscreen/windowed options. However, these issues have now been fixed in the Week 1 patch.
Very Nice game, really like the art style. I like how its sort of about resource management, during a run you have a limited number of item slots, and each character has abilities that run out after a few uses during individual battles. That's where the challenge comes from, and then you also have to position characters, and decide if you want to ho for the statues present on each map that upgrade a character when they step on them; or the item chests scattered around every map.
genuinely a fun and cute game, downloaded the demo and immediately felt it was worth buying the full game after playing, (also the demo seems to be an earlier build of the game, so there are a lot of bugs present there that arent in the full game if you notice those and are worried like i was)
Fun tactics rpg roguelite with lovely character designs
This game is great! Cool artwork, fun battle mechanics.
As a big Fire Emblem fan I absolutely love this game. Its cute and fun, I highly recommend playing it. I just wish there was a way to display all enemy ranges at once.
Feels a bit like a Fire Emblem, Slay the Spire mashup. It does have some meta progression stuff, very much in the roguelite vein.
This is a nice little game with Fire Emblem style turn based tactics. It pulls heavily from the Redwall book series so if you like that you'll like this. Starting out can be sightly rough though because the enemies ramp decently fast and they *zoom* in the later acts. I would suggest something that we players can press to see what details enemies can do, such as certain units that can move attack then move again. That would be super helpful. Side note: I can see this having the basis for some kind of novellas Mr.Dev. I would like to know more about this whole setting.
This game is cute, and despite it's simplicity, it's got a good balance between difficulty and ease of access for people who don't play games like this very often. Like me. The music is fitting too, even if there aren't that many tracks, it's got enough of a bop to not get stale. The characters are all charming too, and there's some real good design to be found in each of them. Sersha's probably my favorite of the bunch, and I ended the game's hard mode in a pretty satisfying way too, with only Sersha and Madaline left standing against the King & Queen when my other party members got hit by random crits. Together they managed to defeat em, and it made the ending panels pretty satisfying because of it. I had a fun time with this game, even if it does have a few bugs, and I'd say it's well worth it's price.
