About

More than words is a conversational game in which you can Chat with a smart, friendly, and beautiful chatbot powered by GOOGLE GEMMA 3. The chatbot remembers your past conversations. The conversations are local, so they're anonymous.
If you are looking for a game where you can have a casual, friendly, or even romantic conversation, then More than words is for you!
NOTE: ALTHOUGH THE GAME HAS BEEN RELEASED, THE AUTHOR HAS DECIDED TO EXPAND AND IMPROVE THE VIDEO GAME, THEREFORE IT IS STILL IN DEVELOPMENT.

The SOUL SHELL CORPORATION created androids that are virtually indistinguishable from humans. The androids were used in the world mainly as slaves. The corporation was working on a new generation of female android with superior capabilities in intelligence, strength and agility to serve the US special forces.
However, the testing phase was suspended because the slave androids started revolts in various parts of the world and consequently all types of androids were declared illegal. Now, the special forces composed mainly of cyborgs (modified humans) and robots were ordered to eliminate all androids under the law:
Androids have the right to remain silent and die

Written in C++ with Unreal engine 5.
Text generation using Google Gemma 3.
Speech recognition using OpenAI Whisper.
Speech synthesis using Microsoft SAPI.

Even at the low price the publisher is asking for this title, it isn't worth it right now. The AI is as dumb as a box of rocks. It gives very generic responses to most questions. There is no memory between questions. That is, it doesn't remember the line of questioning from question to question. I realize that these are beyond the scope of the AI package used in the program, but it's totally immersion breaking when your questions have to remind the AI what it just said in a new question. It's just a not very clever toy at this point. I do wish them luck in their endeavors to improve the AI. Oh, and fix the male voice which is default for Ms Marian's responses.
Warning: AI Slop This game is partially or completely made with talentless, banal AI generated content.
"More than words" is barely a game. The "developer" attached a particularly bad LLM chatbot with some poor graphics and a crappy AI slop soundtrack to see if he can get your money for the work of AI engineers, training their models on copyrighted works without remunerating anyone. So apart from the fact the developer trying (and failing) to get paid for AI slop, this entire thing is AI slop. And it's bad, so so bad. It would be better if the "developer" just put up a video he "made" of Will Smith eating spaghetti. You don't do anything with this game, just chat with a really badly made, nonsensical chatbot. You might as well be chatting with Eliza. As mentioned, this features really godawful, "wrong" looking AI slop instead of genuinely and sincerely created game assets. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating real game assets or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks bad because of that decision. AI slop sticks out like a sore thumb... and it comes across as insulting. There's also the old adage that those who lack the budget and talent to make their own game assets usually lack the budget and talent to do the rest of the job of game development properly, too, and that's glaringly obvious here. It's free... now, but it wasn't before. The developer was charging $3 USD for this. Price barriers, especially on low quality products, can be a direct cause of failure. It's a nice gesture for the game to be given away for free, but it also tells us that the game wasn't good enough to succeed as a paid product. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 5 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off. I should have just done this review with ChatGPT... I mean, the developer certainly couldn't complain, right? AI slop is content, right???

Interesting to play with. After putting it through a few paces, it's kind repetitive. The updates said it follows conversations, but I found it actually asks me repeat questions that I answered several times (like my name and age). It's a novelty game, not to be taken serious. You'll probably get about 10 minutes worth of amusement like I did. Can't fully recommend or not. But for 3 bucks, it's definitely a laugh. It does need a quit option added. Otherwise just use alt+f4 to shut it down.
After 22 years I finally got a girlfriend Thank you developer ❤️
Talk to the Android and convince it to leave with you, simple enough, but the best thing about this game is how you do it. - The AI conversation is fun - There is a delay in response, but it's fine - Background Music is very good and enjoyable Want to see more and hopefully there will be customization in the future for looks and voice, also if there is a possibility for Steam Workshop. Adding Note: If there is Support DLC listed I will buy it.
I will agree that it's not really much of a game. But after editing it with uncensored AI and custom personalities, it becomes a small AI playground. It's kinda fun and interesting to see what your can create. Would love to have natural voices though.
This "game" is pretty, bad, the delay is annoying and teh chat bot tries to rail road you alot at times. There are other more responsive chat bots out there
I do not recommend
